I don't hit up Denny's very often these days but when on the road, it can be a blessing.

Yes, my knife is tip-down. Even with those big screws and assisted action, I still haven't found a better tip-down knife for shirt-pocket carry.

Cleaning out the fridge, I noticed a few expiration dates getting close. So I cooked up some egg noodles, made a sauce with butter, cream cheese, and melted muenster; and tossed in some baked sage sausages. This felt more like a brunch type of meal but nobody at dinner complained.

Three in a row? That's okay. Here are the leftovers from yesterday with Castelvetrano olives and some ludicrously hot chicken. I made the sauce from butter, Worcestershire, garlic, herbs, and a heavy dose of Blair's Sudden Death.
