for winter, what Buck ya carrying and how cold is it...

40 degrees this morning. I shut the wood stove down Monday morning, and turned on the baseboard heat, because it's supposed to be in the 60's all week, with lows in the 30's. I don't care what the thermostat & indoor thermometer says, it just ain't the same. :)

It might be time to re-visit this thread. I haven't opened it up since March and I was pleased to see Ironbut Ironbut 's 112 all over this page. Man, that's a nice looking knife!

It was single digits when I dropped the kids off at school this morning, but it's climbed to the teens now. I have my 112 in Oak and 5160 that Culprit99 Culprit99 alerted us about a month or so ago.

It hit the upper 20's today!

We have a new driver in the house and I told her that in a few years her favorite winter past times will be:
1) talking about driving on icy roads and
2) arguing about the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Come to think of it, those might be specific to the Midwest.

It's not cold this morning, about 40°F, but the wind is gusting to 65+mph. EDIT: Gusting to 72mph here, and gusts of 105mph reported on the Chief Joseph Highway (State 296) in Park County. A report from near Centennial, WY shows 66" of snow two days ago.

10 degrees with a forecast high of 20. Will be spending the day outside for the Audubon Christmas Bird Count. Planning on carrying my new 303 with gray covers. I give my wife my 503 to carry.
