The gates at work were frozen this morning, I had to get the torch out. It was 10°F when I got here. It should warm up this afternoon and get to highs in the 50s and stay above freezing overnight the rest of the week.

The Virginia thermometer has been a yo-yo the past couple of weeks ranging from the teens to the sixties. Tonight is going down to 28. We started out with 51° and a toad choker of a thunder storm this morning at 6, then by 4PM it was 28°, and snowing like crazy.

Yeah, my wife's been baking cookies for a couple days now. And all our friends & neighbors who come to visit, bring..........more cookies.
It's just awful.

19° and sunny this morning. Last evening we had wind gusts of up to 50mph. Everything's intact here, but it toppled Harrisburg's Christmas Tree, and I'm sure it blew away a lot of people's decorations.

Happy Tuesday evening from Virginia. The thermometer hit 57 here today so it’s not LOOKING like Christmas, but regardless, I’m enjoying a cup of tea by the wood stove as we watch a movie. The 5160 112 and Magnacut 791 Pro are fresh off a touch up after dinner this evening. No matter how careful I try to be, the 112 always has a bit of a flat spot after cutting steak on a dinner plate. But you’ll never hear me complain.

112LT and it's 70 degrees! Fear not, the forecast high for next Monday is 29. Taking advantage of the warm weather to walk around with the camera looking for something interesting. Blackberry leaves seldom disappoint.

30° now. The sleet/freezing rain started at 1PM yesterday & continued off & on until 10PM. So, we have a pretty good coating on ice on everything. Even walking on the grass is trecherous.
