Sent one last email. A week ago, I emailed for an update, with no answer. Today, I sent this message:
"Mr. Turner,
I sent you an email a week ago, asking for the state of my order. You've not responded, and it's roughly two weeks from the time you said you'd have my tomahawk complete. Including the original estimate on your website, and the update stating an 8 week backlog since March, this is the third estimate that I've received on my order. And I'm still waiting.
I understand that with your health issues and the time it takes to hand-forge a multitude of orders, that some time is to be expected. But it's now the end of month seven of my wait. I'd like to ask for either a guaranteed shipping date, or a cancellation of my order. You're clearly swamped with orders, and perhaps one less might ease things slightly.
I don't bear any ill will to you about any of this. I hope that that a Fort Turner tomahawk is soon to come. And if the only route we can take is a cancellation, rest assured I'll keep tabs to see when it may be a better time to order one of your products. I still wish the best for you and your business, and I hope your success continues!
I look forward to your response.
Respectfully, William"
I'm hesitant to turn nasty, so I'm willing to continue with the order if I get a guaranteed order. But if I hear nothing in a week I'm submitting a transaction dispute. Perhaps too late, but its worth a shot.
I'm sure this seems like I'm still caving, but I'm no good at being a jerk. And I WOULD love my tomahawk. I hate giving ultimatums period, so I've been pushed to this. I'll let you guys know how things settle.
