These aren’t my favorite personally for this pattern, but I think they’d look awesome on a heftier pattern like an 86

No I did not but…Postie Mike just dropped these two . Two knife Tuesday! Probably the best ebony handles I have in my collection Fit and finish is excellent and the blade is nice and snappy. Centering is perfect. Now the hunt is on for one of the others.

I agree, this is just such an sophisticated pattern, and that etch feels a lot more workmanlike to me.

The fit and finish on these is excellent. Blade pull is pinchable and good snap on opening and closing. Blades are centered, covers are well fit. I like the ebony more than the blue, but they both look good.

The texture of the blue bone is pretty nice. The randomness of the marks looks like it is from a bone that has been chewed on for a while by animals, or was otherwise marked up in the wild before being used in these knives. Not sure how they did it, but well done by GEC on the texture.

The ebony is a dark, deep, black. Well rounded, and to my personal preference, matches the swayback handle well. Ebony is one of my favorite covers. Very happy to have landed one.
