GEC #470123 Viper

Ahh man you have to describe a bone handle ellis that lookes knawed on by wild animal, way to make me a wanter

The texture of the blue bone is pretty nice. The randomness of the marks looks like it is from a bone that has been chewed on for a while by animals, or was otherwise marked up in the wild before being used in these knives. Not sure how they did it, but well done by GEC on the texture.

The ebony is a dark, deep, black. Well rounded, and to my personal preference, matches the swayback handle well. Ebony is one of my favorite covers. Very happy to have landed one.

We appear to be outnumbered. In the GEC game, I think this is to our advantage!
I'd be happy with any viper I can get from this run.

They sure do go quick. Tried twice today and gone in seconds. Oh well. Maybe next time. Good luck all.

I have an ebony on the way! If I can get a jigged bone I think I’ll be done with the 47s.

It’s all personal preference anyways, but I believe a blade etch indicating the entity who ordered the SFO is not required any more. I think that was only in 2019 maybe?

The white bone looks great but the blade stamp detracts from it IMO.
Etchings don't bother me one way or the other. Seems like an overblown concern in my book.

I don't recall seeing one without since then, maybe CKs 77s last year.
JSR or Kifer? 🤷
Pm sent.
