I need to find me one of these or an old red to backup/complement my micarta 77 Barlow.

 

News of this years 77 barlow release have prompted me to post and updated pic of my old red sawcut.

I happened to be carrying my Clip point 77 Barlow today when I got the text about the preorder. I was finally not super busy when the text came and I was able to get in on this one!

 

what were the options/offerings on this one? I seem to have missed the boat all together on this one.

 

I am looking forward to adding the sawcut green #77 clip to this Wharncliffe, which is also pinchable.

I feel your pain. When I first saw the crack on my 77 my heart sank. I've been lucky though. The crack seems to have stabilized. Now it just adds to the character. Post some pics before you get the handles redone.

This beauty is aging quite nicely.

The more I think about it the more I kick myself for not getting one of those sawcut green bones. I just know those are going to come out looking great!

 

Can't wait for this upcoming production have a copperhead reserved (oh and the Beer Scouts)

This is one of the most beautiful clip point blades ever (to me). Hoping to get my hands on one in African Blackwood...if one ever pops up.

I love how your blades always blacken up like that! Mine dont seem to patina the same way. Great knife, and I'm sure whatever you pick for your repair, It'll be spectacular!

 

The blade looks like it's also made of Blackwood! :thumbup: Looks great!
