GEC #77 Medium Barlow Impressions

I'd love Ether version but a stainless 77 Norfield Barlow would definitely be a cool addition to my collection

Looking forward to the upcoming run too. I wish he would run some mammoth or giraffe. I'm sure there's all sorts of considerations I'm not aware of when making the decisions regarding covers. From an uninformed customer perspective it seems odd to me when KSF runs mammoth on all the Northwoods runs and nobody else does. Either way, Mike's choices are usually great and hopefully we see a 77 barlow this year.

I think it may be that Derrick of KSF provides GEC with the cover materials for some of his SFO's. That was true for elephant ivory, so maybe also true for giraffe and mammoth.

Well, I called. I asked for a 77 Barlow, and I asked for more stainless knives. I don't think they're going to do it this year, but she said maybe next year. We did just get notified about a new run of 78s, and I don't exactly know the difference in the 77 and 78 pattern, but it would make sense to me that maybe they're not too far off.

Don't be surprised if the 77's follow the 78's. They are both the same length & very similar. Just my 2 ¢.
