GEC #77 Medium Barlow Impressions

I'm all for any barlow as long as Autumn gold bone is involved. It's my favorite color (orange) but I have no knives with autumn gold bone. The closest I got is antique yellow or deep chestnut bone.

My brother has this 77. Mike's SFO in 2015. I'm ready for another run.... And it came in a 2 blade version. With a coping. And it came in Autumn Gold

knifeswapper knifeswapper The '16 N. Barlow was such a huge win. Its blade shape and match-strike made it arguably second to none. I felt they were some of the best from GEC.

I will email and make contact as well. I'm disappointed like many out here that there won't be a run in '17.

I think a stainless run would need to be in the 1000 range, to cover all the customers. I'd take one of each cover and configuration, no matter what.

If knives are offered in 2 tool configurations - IMO - the coping or awl are the most useful tools. With last year's clip point, of course.

"These are a few of my favorite things."

"Please GEC, we want some more."

:D
And there is my favorite #77 ever (other than unobtanium abalone version), chestnut saw cut Wharncliffe/clip. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Either way, it's a beautiful knife and awesome collection!

I sent GEC an email saying that several of us Knife Knuts on BladeForums are interested in getting a #77 Norfield medium Barlow SFO this year. That it would be greatly appreciated if this could be taken into consideration. :D worth a shot ;)

I emailed them as well last week, no response. I'll call today, maybe if they hear enough of us it can be pushed through.
