Gec built 2022 Remington Bullet knife

I’ll be up near the Arctic circle this summer. I could test that out and report back…..nah…hell with that.😂

The picture is all about timing! He was cleaning his fingernails with the knife when the bear showed up and he had just scooped up his rifle. A few moments later and it would show him pointing the gun at the bear and the horse retreating!

How are you determining how many are left? I know if you put more in your basket than they have, a mess like "your requested exceeded amount available" or something like that comes up. But are you able to read the number left from viewing the page source or something like that? Or are you simply iterating the amount in your cart until the message appears?

some places with a more sophisticated inventory system may display that. but in general add to cart until no more can be added is the method to identify

OK. That is the "brute force" method but it works. My wife was watching me and wondering why I was ordering so many of one knife. :) I know on some sites, I can change the page to "view source" and look up a data variable related to how much inventory there is left. US Mint, for example. I've heard some people say there were 500 of these made, others say 1000. But the website doesn't say they are limited. Like I said in a previous post, I bought one because it looks cool but mostly because of FOMO. I am mostly a Buck knife collector but just started picking up some Case knives. I have a sickness that I thought I was constraining by just getting Buck knives but it has spread to Case. It had previous spread to Remington because I was getting the knives that Buck made under the Remington name. But then I thought it would be cool to get more Remington bullets. It doesn't seem to have an end.

im still on the fence mostly because I know this knife will sit in the packaging given its somewhat impractical size for my needs and even the collection i suppose since I dont have too many knives past about 4.5inch

I just had to order another...
Got a discount code when I ordered the first so it works out to just a couple of bucks in sales tax.
Since I do use my 97 a lot I know this one will get used, nice to have a backup.
Just hoping it will be a touch lighter than the 97, it doesn't look as chunky.

I should know better than open the emails that they barrage us with after a purchase.
I'll unsubscribe after I receive the knife, just wish it was as easy to get them to stop sending catalogs...;)

Yes, lol, that brute force method. I also couldn't stop the FOMO.

Everyone saying the size is off putting... these and 97s are basically the same size as a Buck 110 (god knows how many of those are in existence), but lighter, more pocketable, and better made. If you like the Buck 110, this should be a more elegant version.

Nice looking knife, but it's not two Franklins nice, at least not to me.....
I have more big knives than I can (or will) carry right now.

I do really like that blade, though.

I was about to make the Buck 110 comparison as well. This doesn't come with a sheath but I don't think many use the 110 sheath anymore. Certainly some do but I don't think it is as many as years ago.

Yeah that comparison helped me get over the hump and buy some 97s that I had passed on when they were released. I’ve given away several to friends and they always end up users so I think folks are missing out from trying these larger size led GEC knives. GEC does a great job at making them slim and comfortable. As much as I like the aesthetics of a 110, it’s a brick and we all know it lol.

Buck is making slim and light 110s now. I have one in g10. Doesn’t even have metal liners but it probably should. I havn’t carried it a bunch but it’s about to go to work with me as my GEC 71 needs to be sharpened.

Edited for relevance: my sister got me a Remington silver bullet for my birthday. She says I have to wait to open it 😎
