Give-Away Criteria

I'd like a shot at the laminated Frost's. I don't have any cool stories about them but I haven't yet tried their laminated steel and would like to. If I win it, either that or my regular SS Frost's Mora will be passed down to my daughter, as I think she's old enough now for a fixed blade. She loves to cook and camp. :)

Well, you're the only one who wanted it, so it looks like you win by default. Send me your shipping information.

This is for the Opinel No. 9 in carbon steel. Give-away starts now and ends at this time tomorrow (20.01) Good luck

JNieporte,
I feel that I should win the Opinel.. As it will be my first.. It will be sharpened and well maintained..
I will also customize it if possible..
I will be sure to carry and use it too..
I only have a few knives and they are all users..
And if it is a locking model like I believe it would be Purrrrfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yes. And I will take pictures..
Thanks for the chance..
If I dont win.. The knife will carry 10 years bad luck for whoever gets it..J/K..:p
Take it easy
Matt

how does this thread keep falling back... everybody's probibly just waiting for the endura and ka-bar...

The opinels are awesome. Finally just got one, the edge geometry gets wicked sharp. the ring lock is solid, if not a little cumbersome, though it doesn't really need to be on.

Is the endura one of the older ones without liners?

Holy cow! Thank you, sir. I'm not too proud to be above winning by default. :D
Thanks again and I'll e-mail you my info after posting this.

It's amazing what people will do for a few cheap, possibly rusted knives.

Lets see the frickin' pictures already.

I think you're missing the point; those knives are JNieporte knives; he didn't have to bury them, he didn't have to tell the community about it, and he didn't have to give them away...heck; he's even paying shipping! I think the guy deserves at least a "thanx", don't you?

For anybody who is curious if they can get in on the give-away, please re-read post #48 in this thread...
Just the users that participated in the "Digging Up Buried Knives" thread are eligible for this give-away, but I will be giving away a US Airforce Pilot Survival Knife (wasn't buried) at the very end for anybody interested....

The reason for this is because I wanted people to post in the mentioned thread because they were interested, not because they wanted a free knife (hence the give-away not being mentioned until much later). The Pilot Survival Knife will be the last knife to be given away, and anybody is eligible for it. Thanks all.

It's also amazing what people will do to ruin another's thread and give-away.

Right on man

and the pilot survival knife is something that interests me as much as the carbon Kbar ;)
