If anyone has checked out GKGP E-bay feedback, it would appear that he has racked up a good number of negatives reviews. It would be fair to say, the truth hurts.
Yeah, he has 25 negatives in the past 30 days. His ebay name is greatknivesgreatprices133 if anyone wants to look him up.

Hmm, it seems Great Knives is off E-bay. A good thing, or potentially bad, guess it is for the masses to decide.

Pity, I got a few blades offa him in EBay. Willing to ship to my country and label them correctly as Camping Tools instead of AK47 (Cold Steel folder, it's name would have triggered multitudes of alarms in the customs dept :)).

Glad you got what you ordered but I sure didn't!:barf:It has been four months and he still swears it shipped out. All I have to show is for it is an empty wallet and pocket where my knife should be! Come on! Adding to the insult he wanted me to meet him at blade to pick it up when he claimed he shipped it?!? What's up with that?:jerkit: Dude is a liar and a thief! He is still avoiding me and refuses to refund me! I say good riddance.

Pity???? You think just because he sent your knife means we should just overlook the tons of people he ripped off? I don't understand your logic. Maybe all of us should just forgive him and let him keep our money.......... because hey you got your knife and that's all that matters, right?

Andrew you are Liar and a Thief!!! Where is the $250.00 you owe me for the knives I sold you. You have burned a lot of people and you will get whats coming to you !!!

Very sad, but after reading this I have to agree.

Hall of shame, don't you mean home of incarceration? I think he deserves to wear stripes or carrot suit. Don't you? Everyone needs to file complaints with their respected authorities, and or I.C.3, and even the post master. Other wise he will continue on, if not as Great Knives then some other scheme in another form.
Hall of shame is a start, but I would be much more happier to see him in cuffs and an orange suit with Tampa Corrections on it.:D

I agree!!! I had done 2 successful transactions with him in the past...Then I was supposed to trade some knives to him that cost me $800. He gave me his physical address where to ship them express. He never sent me anything in return or paid me! He gave me excuses, didnt answer the phone, his mailbox is always full so you cant leave messages, and he even answered one time and said that he wasnt there but it was his voice!!!! I am in Canada and there is really nothing I can do from here. I would love it if someone got this guy good!

Bladeforums.com has a lot of pull when it comes to knives and the WWW. com
And ANYONE running a web base INTERNET store it will have an effect on them, good or BAD.
Also ANYONE running a knife shop in any city/ town, it will have an effect on them also, good or BAD as the INTERNET grows.
Trust me......
This pos will get whats coming to him. For now I hope they stick him in the Hall of shame.
And I hope ya all get your knives and or money back.

Here is another link to him..... http://http://www.bladebid.com/asp/storecatalog.asp?userid=904&aboutstore=1

Hi guys, found this forum while googling Andrew. It's been three weeks since I paid him, last Tuesday he said he'd resend. I asked for a tracking number for UPS or FEDEX, no response to that. If he's using USPS that's not going to make for happy customers. Five years into this business, he needs to do better than this to continue.

Received my Kershaw Leek G10 today, new in box, so he made good. Hope the rest of you end up with what you need. Andrew, I applaud you for attempting to start a business at your age, try to do better on the shipping.

It appears Andrew is a haphazard thief and you were lucky to get your order. He seems to do just enough to get someone (Andrew is that you?) to come in here every now and then and claim Andrew did him right. Then he will get some new victims based on that. Applaud all you want, but I think the boy is a one-handed clapper.
rats...

Andrew is either has a mental disability, or he's a con artist, or some combo thereof. He ripped me on ebay for a paltry $37, and made many promises but never delivered. Said he got kicked off ebay for selling autos, and had his PP account locked, but who knows. Eventually I was able to get the charges reversed on my credit card, but this guy should be avoided at all costs.

:thumbdn:

Not Andrew. I hope you didn't read that post as a glowing testamonial, just a data point. I had a business when I was young, and it was a bit haphazard. Maybe he'll straighten this up, but it'll take years to repair his reputation with enthusiasts and his fellow dealers. Maybe that doesn't matter to an internet retailer, people like me just google a product and order from the cheapest dealer that seems reputable. His website looks good. I spend a lot of time on forums, but I didn't bother finding this one 'till my deal was looking bad.

He hasn't hidden his identity, I have his home address, business and cell number. I found a pic of him, I know his high school. If you guys are waiting for karma to catch up with him, maybe there's more to your deals than you're mentioning here? I was ready to contact my credit card company, Yahoo!, Google, eBay, BBB, USPS, and whatever office in Florida was appropriate, if I didn't get my knife. Whining about it on an obscure forum wasn't high on my list of ways to resolve this.

Um ... if you don't take a minute to google for customer complaints on "obscure forums" how do you decide a dealer "seems reputable"? Just look at his website and guess? You must get ripped off a lot....

newb, if he rips you off, would you post it here that he got you too? and how do we know you're not andrew?

Actually, I had just posted a scathing damnation of him on Saturday, then my wife walked in with a package from Andrew. I quickly edited my post. I also e-mailed Andrew that the knife had arrived, and that I'd post here, since I see he posted here. I told him I wouldn't sugar-coat it, and I haven't. I do believe in spreading the word about a crook, but I wouldn't stop at posting it here if I really felt I was ripped off. I think I recieved slow service, any other assumptions about him would be based on an accumulation of experiences with him, and that's why I posted here. I won't be accumulating any more experiences with him, I'll leave that to you guys.

If you guys have been ripped off, why aren't we reading about your stopping payments and notifying the various organizations that would have some effect on him? Maybe you trusted him and have no paperwork to prove your case, and you're embarrassed, or maybe you're doing deals and not paying taxes, I dunno. Seems odd anyway. I think a lot of people feel embarrassed when they get ripped off on the 'net, and don't take action, and a lot of scammers make money that way. Is that what Andrew is doing, or is he just haphazard? I can't really make a judgement on my one experience, but your experiences tell me I shouldn't order anything else from him.

As far as being Andrew or someone he put up to this, I don't think my posts have been good for him. I have my knife, I won't be dealing with him again, I can speak my mind (unless that offends you guys and you ban me). I imagine he's not happy with my posts, and he has my credit card info, but I think it's clear I'll do more than whine about it if he screws with me.

No, Cougar, I haven't been ripped off a lot online. I'm pretty selective, and this is the closest I've come. I don't google every sprinkler valve and auto parts and knife vendor I do business with. Perhaps this was a wake-up call to me to be a little more cautious.
