• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

That looks great OG :)

haha, I don't think Jack would have that problem, but with my lack of English skills it's me to a T :p

When I'm speaking another language, I very often restructure my sentences if I don't know a particular word :D

Very nice Steve :) Your photos reminded me that I bought about a dozen wee knife stands a while back...ah, there they are sitting on top of that pile of CDs where I put them 2-3 years ago!  :D

Thank you. Doing laundry today so no new pics as I'm sitting around in my chonies - not a pretty sight

I have enough problems with English, let alone another language . When I used to go to Baja for fishing, I used to pantomime a lot and would use one word - never learned enough de los verbos to construct a comprehensible sentence using my self taught Spanish. Instead of trying say something like "Let's move the boat and try over there", I'd make a reeling motion while pointing and say "Allá ?" (there?). Doing that along with using por favor and gracias a lot got me by pretty well. Comprendo? I'm sure the effort was appreciated but every once in a while I'd notice some eye rolling out of the corner of my eye :D

LOL! :D Yep, even if you only speak a few words, I think people appreciate it :) I hate to travel to places where I don't speak any of the language, and always aim to pick up the basics, at least, before travelling. When I was younger, I was very self-conscious about my poor French grammar (no doubt a lot worse now). My big breakthrough was getting drunk! I had a fantastic evening, spoke fluently, and everyone understood what I said perfectly it seemed :D I realised that maybe having perfect grammar probably wasn't as important as making an effort

My herd, left to the right lime/lemon Bone, Buffalo, Stag (left hand), Guardians 18 in Ebony, Guardians 19 in Ironwood and Stag Pere David.:thumbsup:
