Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Just noticed that we're nearly up to 1500 pages! :) Time for another giveaway I think :) ;)

I've been very much enjoying Dan's A Walk in Nature series, and appreciate the effort he's put into taking these great pics and posting them :) So, how about this, post a pic of your Lambsfoot out 'in nature', say 'I'm in', and I'll stick your name in my flat-cap for the draw? Just one entry each please. Competition ends with the last post on page 1500. Oh, and I'll send the winner a Lambsfoot! :D

Waiting around for a repair guy is most frustrating.
Hope the issue is fixed quickly and cheaply, Jack.

Yeah, might not even come until this evening  Thanks John :) Thought I'd do some sharpening while I was waiting

Good Morning Guardians
This is a little coin tray that my son made me years ago. I keep my special coins in it on my desktop.

That's nice John :)

Good morning Guardians! I’ve got some Ebony in my pocket for Wednesday! ;) I hope y’all have a blessed day! :)

What brought me to the Lambsfoot? "I came for the knives and stayed for the friendship.":D

It was the spring of 2014, and our pal Jack Black Jack Black was posting pictures of this simple but elegant knife. I've always been attracted to classic working knives from around the world, and thought a Lambsfoot would be a nice one to have. I found a USA based site that sells lots of international made knives and ordered one. I decided to order it in stag, just because I didn't have any knives in that material at the time.

What came in the mail was such an abomination. Shoddily made, and absolutely the ugliest, pithiest stag I'd ever seen in my life. I'd link to the thread I started about it, but all the picture links are broken. Here's a taste:

Then I got a message from a member here, @Nal0n , who asked for my address and sent me the A.Wright & Sons Lambfoot big'un that I posted on the first page of this thread.

It was such a kind gesture, and part of the reason I associate the Lambsfoot pattern with friendship and generosity, even before Jack started this epic thread.

Very quotable Rachel! :D  I'd forgotten about @Nal0n 's act of kindness, but certainly remember that one you got in 'stag'! Glad you've stuck around

Picked up this Acme Guide whistle the other day :)

It looks ergonomic!

The stag is nice and even. :D
Ha! If y'all had seen the difference between the pictures on the website and what showed up... I've spared you the detailed pictures, but let's just say the problems weren't just cosmetic.

Very kind of you, Gary. I'm not sure what you mean about us Texans needing help. :D If you're talking about the heat, I agree. Over 47 days of over 100 degrees so far.
