L'il Lambsfoot seems to have the same kind of problem Jack's HHB has... It won't be put aside and insists on being with me most days. Recycled photo from the book thread this morning, but I've been very well served with this little guy lately. Action's smoothing out nicely, slowly forming a patina, and just plain comfy to hold and use.

First test of the year for my Algebra classes.
Fingers crossed that I prepared my students well enough.
I've been mostly keeping up with this thread in terms of reading the posts, but I haven't responded to any posts for almost two weeks. About that time, a 36" circumference limb fell off an old oak tree in the front yard and punched a couple of sizable holes completely through the roof, cracked a rafter, and tore off numerous shingles. So roof repairs, debris clean-up, consultations with tree guys, and correspondence with insurance people have occupied a substantial part of my time. Oh, and a new semester started a couple of days after the limb came down, and I'm teaching one class again, so that cuts into my "play time".

The shape of a lambsfoot blade can be described by two lines: the nose line and the spine line. Using the graph, determine the line equations y = ax + b for each of the three lines depicted above:
- nose (shared by both)
- spineW - spine of a Waynorth Cutlery Lambsfoot (blue)
- spineA - spine of an A. Wright Lambsfoot (red)
