Good Morning to all. Busy day painting and gardening today. Think I'll keep this one away from the paint though.

Your HHB looks fine Gary! The Rosewood appears just a little too dry in my humble opinion. :)

sanding :) I have a trip over to Sheffield on Friday
I really hope you have a fruitful visit Jack! ;) Because I really do love my Lambsfoot knives!

Thanks Duncan, that's the one my friend, the Needham you very kindly gifted me, it's real solid :)

Morning Guardians :) I hope everyone had a great weekend, and that your week gets off to a good start. I'm carrying an old William Rodgers today, buffalo horn covers

Jack you really have some fantastic oldies my friend! They are few and far between, especially with blades that are not used up. I suspect it’s because the knives were owned by folks that really used their knives on a daily basis. :D

Good morning, Jack. That's a fine old knife, and the background is interesting, as well. I think we have a different naming system for files over here. (or it's possible I've been calling things by the wrong names)

Thank you Rachel, the illustration is from The New Standard Sheffield File List (1915) :)

:D :D

Good Morning Guardians
I've got a little painting to do today.

Hope it goes well John, nice pic :)

TY Guadians !
Dave, I think you got it TY, just googled White-breasted Nuthatch!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Well done Dave, we don't have the White-breasted Nuthatch here, this is a Pied Wagtail :)

We'll see Ron, I am far from happy with our friends from Sheffield at the moment o_O Thank you my friend. Around the same time as I picked up the horn William Rodgers, I picked up a similar Bexoid model. That was a few years back, not often I see old Lambsfoot knives anymore :(

Thanks Ed, I'll be sure to keep you updated by PM

Fantastic photo, Dave! What are the yellow leaves? I'd have guessed bigtooth aspen, but I didn't think that grew as far west as you are.
GT the yellow leaves are from a Swedish Aspen
Yeah, but Schultz actually knew a lot about what was going in in the old Stalag! :D

I knew you were unhappy and why my friend. I hadn’t spoken of it but I feel you have every reason to be displeased. Thanks for the compliment Jack! :)
