Jack, your French press certainly is a dead-ringer for mine. The brand on mine is "VonShef."
I never got the hang of pressing coffee. Every time I pour my coffee on an ironing board to press it, it runs all over the sides and I can't get it back in the cup.![]()

Today I’m carrying my Waynorth Cutlery Jigged Bone Lambsfoot. Now on to another subject. I’m a coffee lover. I like it like my Ebony, dark and black!
But, we grew up here in the south where I live drinking Sweet Ice Tea. It was usually brewed using Lipton, Tetley, Luzianne or one of the other local store brands. I’ve never really acquired a taste for hot teas. Pam does drink hot tea, including some of the herbals on occasion. Thanks to Jack
Jack Black and Barrett @btb01 I think my opinions about hot tea have been influenced by the discussion of “Builders Tea”! I did some research and decided to try it. I liked it and will probably replace my afternoon coffee with Builders Tea. To make mine I used some Twinings Tea in a variety box we have on hand. I prefer a strong tea so I enjoyed the Irish Breakfast and English Breakfast more than the Earl Grey or Lady Earl. I let it steep for 5 mins in a large mug. To my surprise while I was at my local grocery store this morning during the Old Folks designated shopping time of 7 - 8 am I was able to find two different English teas to try. One in particular caught my eye and I’m sure Jack will be able to offer his opinion on the Yorkshire Tea and the Make Mine a Builders! Before I forget, I like mine with “Milk and one”!

It would appear that my grinding exploits on Tuesday resulted in breaking at least one tooth and dulling the rest of the lead teeth.Time to pull them off and get them sharpened. Rosie is along to help.

Very helpful Jack. We opened and unloaded a pallet of pellets earlier, then opened a bag of said pellets to fill the stove at the shop.Nice bit of shopping there David, so much for the shelves being bare![]()
Hope she can help you out Willie![]()
