Fantastic read! :cool::thumbsup:

Stunning work, Mr John! Can't wait to see some more of it, :):thumbsup: I will be picking your brain for tips!:thumbsup:
Thank you, Dennis. You have inspired me to get my shop back up and running. I'll be spending most of this week cleaning the garage and next week setting up my tools. :cool::thumbsup:

Well I see where your sons get their size! Look like you're ready to jump out on the field, John! You should get into Bulldogging! Looking good, hermano!
I did a little Bulldogging.
Thanks for the kind words. :):thumbsup:

Excellent photo, John, but you should whoop the 6 year old that fumbled the blue fob!
Are you kidding, I love my fob and I'm going to be sure to hang it on one of my leather tools. :cool::thumbsup:

You guys must have been drinking too much, the guy is a real grumpy SOB!:eek:
So are we... :D

A grand and peaceful image my friend!:cool::thumbsup:
Thank you, again. :)

Mine are usually focused on my thumb!:(:cool::thumbsup:
Lol... :D:thumbsup:

Keep smiling folks ;) :thumbsup:
Words to live by, my friend. :)

That's a serious grind!:eek::D
Do you run into much burl or spalted hardwoods?

That wasn't too bad actually Dennis, we took the tree out back in November, was just a Norway maple so it didn't grind very hard. We do occasionally, I always save the burls burls we find. A friend of mine actually just did some knife handles from a sugar maple burl I gave him. They turned out very nice. I do see spalting now and then but I unfortunately haven't gotten into anything that wasn't too far gone to be worth doing anything with. :thumbsdown:

I enjoyed your post Jack (as always) and I hope you stay safe too. I'm not exactly an "indoor" type so these times aren't very enjoyable for me. Getting some little projects out of the way for now and spending more time on the porch.

Thanks Bill, same here, with the weather we've had here lately, I have been looking forward to Spring since Xmas. Now it looks like it might have been cancelled! o_O

Thanks, Ron!:cool::thumbsup:
My son works for Delta and is living in Seattle :)eek:), and he brought us a set of those mugs. We do drink the Pike Place, but mostly the French Roast, sometimes the Veronna(sp?). I really got into the dark and strong coffee and beer while in Germany.

Excellent Ebony, Ron, and well photographed!:):thumbsup:

Mine today, with some Pike Place.

Thanks for the compliments Dennis! :) I also prefer a strong brew! I can enjoy a good medium roast such as the Pike Place! :) Your Hartshead Stag is definitely a beauty! :thumbsup:

Good morning Guardians, hope everyone is doing OK and staying well, great to see some of our absent friends check in :) Keep smiling folks ;) :thumbsup:

Good morning Guardians! :) Jack, we definitely need to keep smiling! That’s one of the things in life that we always have control of! :thumbsup:

Today I’m carrying my Waynorth Cutlery Jigged Bone Lambsfoot. :) Now on to another subject. I’m a coffee lover. I like it like my Ebony, dark and black! ;) But, we grew up here in the south where I live drinking Sweet Ice Tea. It was usually brewed using Lipton, Tetley, Luzianne or one of the other local store brands. I’ve never really acquired a taste for hot teas. Pam does drink hot tea, including some of the herbals on occasion. Thanks to Jack Jack Black Jack Black and Barrett @btb01 I think my opinions about hot tea have been influenced by the discussion of “Builders Tea”! I did some research and decided to try it. I liked it and will probably replace my afternoon coffee with Builders Tea. To make mine I used some Twinings Tea in a variety box we have on hand. I prefer a strong tea so I enjoyed the Irish Breakfast and English Breakfast more than the Earl Grey or Lady Earl. I let it steep for 5 mins in a large mug. To my surprise while I was at my local grocery store this morning during the Old Folks designated shopping time of 7 - 8 am I was able to find two different English teas to try. One in particular caught my eye and I’m sure Jack will be able to offer his opinion on the Yorkshire Tea and the Make Mine a Builders! Before I forget, I like mine with “Milk and one”! ;)

Yes indeed Ron, things might not actually be any better, but a cheerful outlook and a good sense of humour will get you through a lot in my experience :thumbsup:

Nice colours Tim :) :thumbsup:

Early morning action at work

Fantastic Ron! :D Yorkshire Tea is my daily tea of choice, but I love the 'Builders', never seen that one here! :D I like my coffee strong and black too :) Beautiful WCLF :) :thumbsup:

Good news, just been in the post box, the replacement has arrived, and very nicely done it is too.
