Since we're mostly stuck in isolation, and as a way to keep all us Guardians healthy and fit, I produced this video (not really) of Guardians hitting the ol' heavy bag for exercise:

Ahhh but patina they do. Even the iron bolster on this Rosewood covered HHB is starting to patina while the blade etch is slowly being consumed by patina too.

Happy Saturday, Guardians! It's been a long busy week with work, so I'm hopelessly behind on this thread. I'll try to go back through later today... apologies in advance if I don't hit all the posts I've missed!

Jelly and I did a lot of work in the yard today, but were very honored to receive this quite prestigious honor upon completion!

Not my yard pictured above, but if you can imagine something about 1 percent as large, with one tree, and covered with lots of pretty dandelions and clover, then you'll get the idea!

Back around 1978 I went to the Wurstfest in New Braunfels and tasted some original Shiner beer. I thought it was awful. Years later when Shiner Bock came out I couldn’t believe how good it was. Quite a surprise.

I wonder if those two sheep are still wondering what was going on there! I remember once being on a family fishing trip, and my grandmother being pursued across a field by a sandwich-hungry old ram. She was as tough as old boots, and it was the closest thing to fear I ever saw her show! She was hitting it with her handbag, while the rest of the family fell about with laughter

Good morning Guardians! I apologize if I double quote or click a quote on one of your posts and it doesn't appear. I am having a terrible time with the forum software this morning! I'm excited this morning! I got a new to me Lambsfoot in the mail yesterday evening. It's totally different to me. I don't have anything like it in my collection and I can't find another one like it to compare it to. I did find reference to the company, but I could only find it in reference to older knives. I believe my knife was possibly made in the late 70's or early 80's. I know Jack will be able to help out. Thanks in advance Jack Black buddy!

My knife is a Venture, H.M. Slater, Sheffield. It has some beautiful deeply grained horn handles. The bolsters are brass and the liners are steel. It is a big'un, which I really like! As a note, the blade looks very much like the blade on my big'uns from Wright's. The horn is hard to photograph but I got some photos to show you!
