Hello, all!

Since we're mostly stuck in isolation, and as a way to keep all us Guardians healthy and fit, I produced this video (not really) of Guardians hitting the ol' heavy bag for exercise:
:D
You’ve got a great looking flock. Hope you have a safe and blessed Sunday also! :D

Hope you're feeling much better ASAP, Dennis!:thumbsup:
Thanks for the photo encouragement. :)
You've got your fab flock of four all squared away!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I do hope you recover quickly my friend!
Trying for a nice clear picture... let's see if I am capable. ;)

Nope, I'll keep working on it. :D
Looks great to me, John!:):thumbsup: I rely totally on chance for a somewhat decent photo!

Good Morning Guardians
Carrying my Hartshead to send good wishes to Jack... May your back start to feel better. :)
And another great...and clear photo, John! Great looking HHB!:thumbsup:
The masked bandit of the forest also sends his best wishes

It is a great phito! I guess I have Starwars on the brain, because that does look like an Ewok peaking around the tree! Incredible shot!
Getting ready for another round of bumpy weather here in the south. Hope everyone stays safe.
Fantastic Foto! I hate springtime, tornado season! I do hope you and yours remain safe!
Ahhh but patina they do. Even the iron bolster on this Rosewood covered HHB is starting to patina while the blade etch is slowly being consumed by patina too.

Looks awsome, Ed!:cool::thumbsup:
Going outside my comfort zone.

Mmmmm, delicious looking! I would end up eating them all, then I would be out of my comfort zone!:p:thumbsup:
Good morning, Guardians!

Old pic from a fun trip to Shiner, Texas last year.
Prosit!
Will have to venture down there one of these days! I like Shiner Bock, and I have an aunt down in the Austin area...
When I got up this morning I knew it was Saturday so I dropped my PD Stag Big ‘un in my pocket.

I just realized I didn't have one of Dylan's @Pàdruig photos, you've been killing it lately with your photos!

All this backing has inspired me to......ask my wife to bake some bread, since I burn water! She's been making a loaf every couple of days now!

Morning Guardians, you folks have been busy! :) I was hoping I'd be able to get back in my office chair again today, but still struggling a bit I'm afraid, so just stumbling along on my phone  I hope everyone is doing well, and having a decent weekend :) Got my Hartshead Barlow in my pocket again ;)

Happy Saturday, Guardians! It's been a long busy week with work, so I'm hopelessly behind on this thread. I'll try to go back through later today... apologies in advance if I don't hit all the posts I've missed!

Not my yard pictured above, but if you can imagine something about 1 percent as large, with one tree, and covered with lots of pretty dandelions and clover, then you'll get the idea!

Impressive Matt! :D After all your work, I hope you get a chance to put your feet up today buddy

:D

Thank you Jack. Your Hartshead at the mouth of the wooden opening is mighty nice. Here’s to your back woes clearing up soonest. Cheers!

Good Afternoon Guardians. Be Well.

Thanks a lot Kevin :) Wow! That's a pretty incredible collection my friend

Back around 1978 I went to the Wurstfest in New Braunfels and tasted some original Shiner beer. I thought it was awful. Years later when Shiner Bock came out I couldn’t believe how good it was. Quite a surprise.

Thanks Jack, I believe we are just out on the upper edge of it but I am hoping everyone else gets a break this time. Take care with your back.

Thank you my friend, I hope you're all doing ok there. Wurstfest sounds like a lot of fun

Great to see you here Dennis, and I hope you're doing ok my friend :) Thank you for the kind words, it looks like you're being well looked after

I wonder if those two sheep are still wondering what was going on there! :D I remember once being on a family fishing trip, and my grandmother being pursued across a field by a sandwich-hungry old ram. She was as tough as old boots, and it was the closest thing to fear I ever saw her show! She was hitting it with her handbag, while the rest of the family fell about with laughter  :D

Good morning Guardians!
Getting ready to bake some more sourdough on this beautiful Sunday morning.
Oh... and in case you were wondering .... a Hartshead Barlow weighs 92 grams

Beautiful day here, but I find myself not just confined to the house, but for the most part, to my sofa o_O I did manage to put a couple of sausage sandwiches together this morning, but I wasn't very impressed with the sausages :( Hope everyone is having a good Sunday

Great pair John! :)

Hopefully it's showing some sign of improvement. :(

Definitely John, I never know how long it's going to last, but I'm hoping that by tomorrow I'll at least be able to sit in my computer chair without too much discomfort. Unfortunately @donn 's back has come out in solidarity with mine, and he's having the same problem o_O

Good Morning Guardians

That's a really nice pic John :)

Good morning Guardians! :) I apologize if I double quote or click a quote on one of your posts and it doesn't appear. I am having a terrible time with the forum software this morning! :( I'm excited this morning! :D I got a new to me Lambsfoot in the mail yesterday evening. It's totally different to me. I don't have anything like it in my collection and I can't find another one like it to compare it to. I did find reference to the company, but I could only find it in reference to older knives. I believe my knife was possibly made in the late 70's or early 80's. I know Jack will be able to help out. Thanks in advance Jack Black Jack Black buddy! ;)

My knife is a Venture, H.M. Slater, Sheffield. It has some beautiful deeply grained horn handles. The bolsters are brass and the liners are steel. It is a big'un, which I really like! As a note, the blade looks very much like the blade on my big'uns from Wright's. The horn is hard to photograph but I got some photos to show you! :D
