It's true, a Lambsfoot makes you look younger. :)

Good morning Guardians! Hope y’all are well! We were awoken this morning by a fire alarm. We’re on the third floor of a three story hotel. After we got the clear to go back in we heard that some DA had set off the alarm with steam from their shower! I looked in our room and the alarm is 10 feet from the door to the bathroom. So I’m thinking they were smoking or burned something in the microwave. I’m definitely NOT buying the steam story. :p I’m recycling a sunrise photo from another trip to Jekyll Island. But, it’s a good one! ;) Lambsfoot content will be my stag big’un again! Have a great day! :)

You did a good job though Bill :)

As a young boy, I was very excited to get the ivory keys from ours, but they were just wood, with a thin veneer on top :(
Wood with thin veneers of ivory are the only kind I've ever seen. I don’t know if pianos were ever made with solid ivory keys. It seems like they would be pretty heavy.

The veneers could be laminated to make thick enough slabs for handles but as you say, it isn't worth doing hard time.

Cool pic Vince :)

Good point Rachel, I once had a large section of mammoth tusk, and it was very heavy. On the piano my parents had, I'm not entirely sure even the veneers were ivory! Even today, I am always hearing of folks trying to give away cheap out-of-tune pianos. Here's a pic I took of a piano tuner in a local bar :)

That makes two of us! I was standing in my Birthday Suit about to get in the shower when it happened! Pam was yelling for me to come on! I had to throw my clothes on! ;) Actually it was sort of hectic to say the least! :D
