A beautiful woods and photos of your lamb foot. Where is the location?

Our walk started close to 18th century Harewood Bridge
Jack I thoroughly enjoy the pastoral and wooded scenes of your beautiful country. Same goes for David's up north.

Can't leave Dan out either with his camping, hiking and wildlife photography skills.

Thanks to all of you Guardians for your contributions both tangible and intangible. I love the spirit of this thread.

Have a great Sunday all.

Will that "fork" that you have whittled become something?:) I also like the solitude and quiet of the woods and countryside. One of the reasons why I like fly fishing the limestone creeks of upstate Pennsylvania:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:. Sorry that you had rather dull weather but I'm sure things will brighten for you in the future.:D

Hopefully, it'll become a slingshot Bill :) Yes, I haven't fished for years I'm afraid, but when I was a teenager, I was mad for it, and fished throughout the year, at every opportunity. Then, I thought it was about catching big fish. When I look back though, what I enjoyed most of all was the tranquility, and being out in the wild, particularly early in the morning, and enjoying something so very much that a day could flash past in a way that it rarely does when you're young. Thanks buddy, hopefully it'll brighten up again next spring! :D ;)

Thanks Dwight, another great photo my friend, a hog between two Lambs :D :)

Vince @Prester John - The visit with the doctors went great. They gave me a very thorough going over and then asked the "Big Question" - Are you going to want lower teeth? I told them no, I was actually doing quite well with eating and that my "swallow was working fine. They then said "Okay" and that if that was the case, they didn't need to do the surgical trimming:thumbsup: to fit a dental plate.:)

I've finally figured out how to eat a hamburger or sandwich with no lower teeth. I put the hamburger or sandwich in my mouth, hold it against my lower gum, bite down half way with my upper teeth, chew/gum it, swallow, turn it over and do the same with the bottom half of the hamburger or sandwich, and then go to step one for the next bite.;) Kinda slow going but what the heck - I'm doing okay.

I've been so busy lately what with going on my journey to Portland, OR that I can't remember if I wished you a happy birthday so a belated Birthday Wish to you.

I'm carrying this custom covered Standard Lambfoot by @Signalprick today. It always puts me in a good mood and makes me happy when I carry and use it. Jason picked out some really nice Snakewood for the job.

Glad it went well, Ed!
Kind of like slicing through a loaf of bread with a short bladed knife.
That's some great looking Snakewood!

My computer crashed 2 days ago, been offline for over 48 hours. Made me realize how much it has helped keep me sane through lockdown, but also how reliant i/we have become on them. This has both it's good and bad points. Hope you all have a good week.:)

Sorry to hear that Leon, I think mine is on the way out too, and my phone

Thank you Bill :) , it's Murphy's Point Provincial Park . About one hour north of Kingston, Ontario. Beautiful place with lots of trails and lakes.
