Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thursday tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to my weekly trip to the local market. We haven't had any cake for a few weeks, so I might have to put that right ;) Thinking of taking Big Bex with me

Getting a late start on my post today as I had many jobs to complete starting with washing and cleaning up my Mercedes E350 this morning.;) Then carving up some cardboard to be taken to the recycle facility and then some gardening. Got my HHB out and touched it up a bit on the ceramic stone before attacking the cardboard. We are still getting weather in the 80's so there's a lot of stuff growing like gang busters.

Looks like Mr Jackolantern is getting along just fine with Mr HHB.

It sounds like you've been busy Bill :) We only get 80's in the height of summer here - if we're lucky! That's a great pic

That should be a fine cake cutter... eat a piece for me. :)
Thanks John, definitely my friend ;)
Season's over and we have more food than we can give away. We all have to do our bit.

Glad you got a good harvest Jer, I'm sure there was a lot of work involved. Good to be well fed in these hard times
Looking good there :)
Just reporting in, experiment been going for 3 days now and no significant removal of dye. Going to leave it for 7 days and see what happens, though i expect very little. then will start again, after sanding the covers. Hope you have had a good day everyone, especially Vince.:)
Thanks for keeping us all informed Leon, it's a conundrum for sure

Vince might turn up at 4.00am, singing Frank Sinatra songs! ;) :D Hope you both had a very Happy Birthday :)

I'm extremely sorry Jon, with the slight assistance of the auto-suggest feature, I managed to confuse you with TheJon TheJon , who recently had an unfortunate incident with his Lambsfoot (see below):( Please excuse my mistake, I'll correct my previous post

I had a response typed up from your thr other day but apparently never posted it. Anyway the poor scuffed up lambsfoot us still in my pocket. It's a trooper that little knife. 😁

On a side note, we have some of you Brits out here for a training exercise. Members of the 1st ISR Brigade if I'm not mistaken. I have a hard enough time recognizing US patches let alone foreign military. o_O

I'll see if I can swap patches with one of them and get a picture.

Focus over framing.
I found this creature, double plastic-wrapped, on my kitchen counter. It was made for General Mills, so I guess it must have fallen out of my Cheerios.

What kind of sick freak decided that a mummy chicken was a suitable mascot to put before us tender infinks, I daren't speculate.

Going to chase the little white ball around the links this morning.:) I usually take a pocket knife with me when I golf but I've lost a number of knives while at the course. Don't know why but they just get legs and walk off :confused:so I'm leaving my Lambsfoot knives at home just to be safe.

Fall means getting to enjoy my favorite style of beer. This limited run Oktoberfest I picked up while on vacation recently did not disappoint, only wish I'd have grabbed more, I'm down to my last one! :p

I think we've all forgotten to hit the 'post' button at least once Jon  It's good to know that you're OK, and that your Lambsfoot hasn't gone AWOL ;) Interesting, I'd forgotten you were in MI (I think you said so replying to someone else, possibly in another thread) That'd make for an interesting pic

LOL! :D I was just saying, the other day, that I couldn't remember the last time I bought a box of breakfast cereal. I'll get round to it some time ;)

Would want you losing your Hartshead Barlow Bill! Have a great day though :)
Good Morning Guardians
That's another ace pic John

I hope everyone is having a good day :) I've been stood up for about 6 hours at the market, and my old 'plates of meat' are feeling it today. I'm just having a brief rest, and then I'm going to have to start getting things ready for when the gaffer comes round for tea. Had a good day at the market, but I forget to take any pics. I did however pick up this vintage Cornelius Whitehouse & Sons axe I was admiring last week. I don't really need ANOTHER axe, but you know how it goes  ;) Here's a link to a free download of their 1869 catalogue for anyone who's interested
