Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

We are having the best display of the southern lights or " Aurora Australis ", in a long time at the moment. Absolutely spectacular, this was a shot taken last night by the scientific team at Casey Base at the Antartic.😲.

Mine was a lambsfoot, with the pen blade covering the main nick completely. I ground the pen till I could reach the main nick, then cut an EO notch because the regrind didn't quite do the job, then deleted the pen anyway because I couldn't open it without a screwdriver.

(Brass pin because it's cheaper than nickel silver. I don't think it was quite the right diameter though.)
It says something about a firm's QC that they wouldn't spot a fault like that, but my first GEC came like that  That big, fat Pen of Wright's takes up a lot of space doesn't it? It's their only Pen blade, and from a completely different pattern. It doesn't work well with a standard Lambsfoot blade at all :(
Thanks- here's the second one.

Another goodie! What's that in the background Jer?
Tonights dinner, smokehouse jambalaya. Sausage medallions needed to be halved and of course doused liberally with the Relish. 😋View attachment 1674558
That looks tasty! 😋 Great pic  :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has had a good week. My pal is on his way round to pick me up, and we're heading out for coffee and cake, which I think is a good start to the day :D Hopefully, the rest of it will be just as good ;) Hope you all have a good one too :)
