Having not been to the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, I enjoyed my visit yesterday, along with the walk along the River Aire. As it was Remembrance Sunday here, we went via one of the war memorials in Leeds. The museum is vast, and we only visited a couple of the galleries (I primarily wanted to take some photos of particular pieces for my pal H herder ). We also saw a moving presentation about WW1. After our visit to the museum, we called in at a Lebanese restaurant, which does superb food. I was so distracted by the colourful mezze that I forgot to take a pic, but I did get one of our lentil soup starter, which was delicious![]()
