Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Midwinter is still more than a month away, but it's already dark pretty early here (I prefer the light summer evenings). Thought I'd have a glass of wine. Cheers Guardians

Having not been to the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, I enjoyed my visit yesterday, along with the walk along the River Aire. As it was Remembrance Sunday here, we went via one of the war memorials in Leeds. The museum is vast, and we only visited a couple of the galleries (I primarily wanted to take some photos of particular pieces for my pal H herder ). We also saw a moving presentation about WW1. Here's a few pics, but there's more at the links I've pasted in below

On the way out, I spotted the Duke of Wellington parked ingloriously in the corner, behind a screen, where they were doing some work. The Iron Duke meets The Iron Lambsfoot! ;)

After our visit to the museum, we called in at a Lebanese restaurant, which does superb food. I was so distracted by the colourful mezze that I forgot to take a pic, but I did get one of our lentil soup starter, which was delicious :)

Thanks my friend, I do find the interior difficult to photograph, but I have a few pics to email you :) Love the pic! :D :)

Good morning Guardians, hope everyone is doing OK, and that your week got off to a good start. Each Tuesday, I randomly pick a knife from my collection to carry, and this week Lady Luck dealt me a Lambsfoot. I haven't carried this one much at all, and not for a long time, as I was never a great fan of the double-bolstered design someone cooked up a few years back. This one was an under-the-counter factory second, with pre-ban elephant ivory covers. Guess it makes a change. Have a good day everyone

Good luck on him not being a lap dog. Our Louie thinks he is and let’s face it pits are people dogs.

Looks like Louie has it made. I also totally agree that pits are people dogs.
LOL! :D Nice to see your Oxhorn Lamb Kevin, it's been a while since I last carried mine :)
That oxhorn Lamb of mine was starting to get mad at Jake for hogging all the pocket time. ;)

Have a great day Guardians.
