Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I just caught up on a few days of this thread, and now I’m hungry! 😋😁

Falafel with tahini dip, hummus, bread, and a pot of mint tea, for under a fiver (£5 - $6.77) :)

I've never eaten anything in that picture, but it looks good though. 🤠

You’ve never had bread?! 😉😁

Hit post before I put my comments. 😄
My grandfather used his reels to troll for Salmon on Lake Michigan. I’ve got an old picture of him holding up one when they got back to the dock. I use old photos, cards, and pictures my kids made as bookmarks. So if I can find the book with that picture I’ll post it. 😊
LOL! I've done that a few times Todd :D Fantastic, I'd love to see the photo. I used to go fishing with my grandfather sometimes, but when we were both fishing, there was no conversation between us, or very little, except when my granddad would call me to bring him a cup of tea, or some bait. Sadly, I don't have any of his fishing tackle unfortunately. When he died, I was abroad, and distant relatives descended on his place like a plague of locusts 😒
This one?

Love this book; was flicking through mine a couple of weeks ago.
A classic David :) Nice patina on your Lambsfoot too

I've read it before, of course, but didn't get to read much this afternoon, as I promptly fell asleep! 🥱

Storm Dudley is arriving, bringing 90mph winds with it, in some parts of the country  The name Dudley always reminds me of an old school pal's father, Dudley Dunn! :D By Friday, we should be in the grips of Storm Eunice  Hopefully, I can get down to the market tomorrow, in the calm before the storm ;)

Seems a bit much, two named storms in three days.

The title of Vacation Campers has me intrigued.
It's still available on the UK big river site so you should check out their US site.

Yeah, it's definitely the perfect book for a lazy afternoon on the couch listening to a winter storm whirl aboot the house.
After reading Padruig's Nessmuck trio thread I looked and found that Sear's book is still available in the UK. I've never read it but I understand it's in a similar vein to Kephart's book? I think I'll pick it up.

Yeah, the wind is really howling outside too. Not a nice night to be out! 😳

Interesting. I just uploaded 3 or 4 images to imgur. Hope it gets sorted out for you.

Oops! Edited to remove content that didn't belong here!

LOL! Thanks Gary 😁👍

Yeah, I have Nessmuck's book too, and Bernard S Mason's (though not the edition from my boyhood unfortunately). The reprints are inexpensive, and the PDF versions are free to download 👍

“To Market To Market.”

Skoll out for a ride again today.

Nice one Jer :)

Heaven knows what the weather will be like here tomorrow, but my plans are to go to the market, as usual :) Have a good day everyone, and I'll hope to catch up with you later in the day

Got my Bagpipe Ebony Big 'Un on cake-cutting duty! :D

Ha! We need to work out a sun-sharing agreement. :D

Touché. :D

Thank you Bill :) My mate wanted to try the place, so I have been there again today :D He eats like a horse, so we were able to order a lot more dishes :)

That's a good kind of friend for going to a place like that. So many tasty options!

We definitely do Greg, I was reading an article about the lack of rain there just last night. Also, in the wee hours, when I couldn't sleep, looking at more knots! :D

More Knots!!

It's an occupational hazard of being a Guardian. ;)
