I haven't seen CelloDan CelloDan around for a while :( Has anyone spotted him? I do hope the old sausage is OK

Edit - I see he's still throwing some 'likes' :) Hope you're doing OK Dan, and that you'll be posting again soon

Thank you Jack :)

Maybe he forgot how to post after that nasty bump on the head?

LOL John , that's a good one, thanks for the chuckle :)

Good morning, Guardians. I’ll be carrying my usual today, shown in this recycled picture from a couple of years ago that I took as a nod to the style of CelloDan CelloDan CelloDan CelloDan . Hope he’s doing OK.

Gracias Greg :)

Thank you Guardians :)
I am doing ok  All tests after the fall came back normal.
My wife is now going through several medical tests of her own and that combined with some new responsibilities that I had to take on in the past few days have me a bit overwhelmed (I was never a good multitasker )

Thank you for the kind thoughts :), I'll return in a few days when the fog clears :thumbsup:

Good Morning Guardians.
I'm still off today, so I'm going to be working on my Jeep.
Sounds like a good day, we may have another snow day tomorrow, if the forecast is accurate. 🤪
Thank you Guardians :)

Always a pleasure to follow your nature sojourns.
It’s a little cold this morning!
Cool image. Love the tone.

Good Morning Guardians

Gosh, how often do the streets flood? Hope it all dries out soon. Nice stag on that LF knife.
At the top of the photo, you might just be able to make out the bridge which links the two sides of the town. They had the same bridge since the English Civil War, but it was washed away a few years ago. They nearly lost the replacement last week  We went to York via the motorway, which bypasses Tadcaster, on raised ground. It was like crossing a vast lake! There's still a lot of flooding in York, but the water is starting to slowly go down

Great stag on your AC and a wonderful photo of it too. I love old train engines. It's in my blood as my Grandfather was an engineer for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.
Great stuff Bill, hard to get a decent pic with as many folks packed into the museum, as there were today, but I'll paste in a few below. Thank you for the kind words
Wow! 😍

Jack Black Jack Black , all that water looks awful. I hope things dry up quickly and that the damage left behind isn’t as much as I’m imagining it could be. I hope you have a wonderful time at the train museum!

Thanks Greg, that's a beautiful composition. I am worn out after my trip today (young children can do that!), so I think I'll be having an early night
That looks like a fun read, Jack. 🤠
Enjoying it so far John, I'll let you know :)

We were supposed to get rain yesterday, but it didn't happen... and we NEED it!
We got about five minutes of sprinkles in Sacramento. It's a start! Now if we could just get that to go for a week or so, and cover the whole Central Valley, plus a bunch of snow in the mountains, then we'd be in good shape.

Here is my hopeful Lambsfoot.

WOW!!
Jack- stunning photo's of amazing old Trains!!! beautifully restored- its a shame we don't see more of those magnificent machines on the tracks for a run now and then!
Thank you for sharing these my friend.

Hey Dan! Fingers crossed matey for your Wife's results!

Has there been any improvement Jer?
Yes. It had shrunk off the liner at the head end and seems to have filled out again pretty well.
I don't remember if I've mentioned that part of the trouble with my central humidifier was that I had the water to it turned off. ( Dam thing's a dam waste of money!] The furnace guy was here this morning and says the humidifier is fine (I had turned the water on a while back, which spared me some embarrassment).
