Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks Jack. The mead smells like bread dough and honey. Very pleasant. So it looks like so far we didn’t contaminate the must!

Sounds lovely Taylor 😊👍

That one worked.

I've favored universal mandatory service of some kind since I've been too old to have to do it myself.

Excellent pic Jer 👍

😁👍

Quite an irresistible trio, Greg!!:thumbsup::cool:

Thank you, GT! When I was taking the photo I thought to myself that it might be one that you enjoy. :)

I and imagine everyone else here really enjoy any discussions about the Lambsfoot. There is a wealth of knowledge here, and any information that we can all learn from is a huge positive. And i mean any information, history, use, production, sharpening, even faults . If thought out properly before putting pen to paper using an old saying, so much can be discussed without transgressing Forum and Guardians rules. Glad you were interested in the HT posts.:).

Most definitely! Discussions of these sorts are some of the most enjoyable for me here. So much to learn and such a wealth of knowledge to draw on from our esteemed and generous members.

Fed the yeast, and degassed the mead.

looking good, Taylor, both mead and blade!

Thanks for the info. But i'm not going there again.🥰🥰🥰
Fair enough mate! :D THis forum seems to limp from one cock-up to the next

Much as I enjoy all the general discussion here, it's the Lambsfoot discussion I enjoy most, and what this thread is about, of course :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a good weekend, and that your week gets off to a decent start :) I thought I'd start mine with this old TEW

Good morning Guardians. I don't know about you but there are times that I just don't get enough sleep. I'm talking about those times when I have a restless night and then the next day I'm just wasted. Been that way for me the last couple of days but I broke the cycle last night and I really caught up on my sleep. Feel so good today that I'm taking my HHB and going to do some outdoor landscaping projects.

Or, "this one is perfect, let's move on" becomes "What the heck was that?"
Yes, not always easy to tell on the small screen. The usual problem for me is that even if the knife is centred, and is supposedly where the camera is focused, when I view the image on my PC, the focus is actually some point in the background. It's very annoying 🤨 With my new camera, I can tap on the screen, exactly where I want to focus, which is a lot better
Good morning Guardians before being put on lunch duty, my Lambsfoot disassembled this apple for breakfast. 😊
Hope everyone has a great day. 👍View attachment 1754209View attachment 1754210

Seems to be a common issue here Bill :( I'm glad you slept better last night, and hope that you have a great day with your Hartshead Barlow
