I was a little premature with my lament for the death of the year a while back. I saw a turkey vulture yesterday, and the leaves are still green. Good thing I'm not given to moods.

If I had not heard the phrase 'turkey vulture' here before, I think I'd find it strangely terrifying

Water pollution is alive and well over here as well Jack , it’s a shame but as you mentioned for the most part and in most areas it has gotten better due to some Government agencies actually doing their jobs Those photos are beautiful ! Due to the geography of where I live if I want to get into some decent trout I have to travel a minimum of 2-3 hours in just about any direction lol and lovely Lambfoot

These are amazing !!! The extra length in the bolster isn’t noticeable !

I’m not sure what those are but I hope they are good ! The HHB makes them look good!

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone's week started well, and that you're all doing OK. I'm in need of a haircut, but strange times at the moment, and I think I'm going to have to wait a few days. Thought I'd carry my Charlie Lamb Have a good day Guardians

It's a lovely, sunny day here, and even with Christmas already in the shops eek: ), I hope we get a few more of them before the dark nights, and shorter days, arrive. I had a walk down to Charlie's Cafe this morning, for a coffee and a croissant. Hisham, who, with his brother, is co-owner, but seems to do most of the work, really takes pride in everything he serves. The coffee is always excellent, and the croissants were better than ever today, particularly as I arrived just as they had come out of the oven. I then headed off to get a gift for my neighbour's baby, and buy a few other things, before returning home. I think I'll go and sit out in the garden for a while, and enjoy the sunshine Hope everyone else is having a good day

What could be better then all of this.

I had to go up the road to the post office earlier, and since there's a Pizza Hut takeaway a few doors away...

The pizza looks kind of odd to me, I didn't pay much attention to the ingredients, as there were people waiting behind me, I just went for the 'Italian-style sausage option'. I was expecting pepperoni!

Thanks Harvey, they had some sort of family deal on, large pizza, 2 sides, and a large bottle of pop for £20. I only really wanted pizza, but it was the same price. Figured it was for one small family or one large middle-aged man!

I've had a bad run on pizza lately, for some reason, I don't know what's going on?! I don't mind mushrooms on a pizza, but COOK the darn things! My favourite pizza place is on the other side of town, with eccentric hours, not least closing for the whole of August, but I should get a delivery soon
