It's a lovely, sunny day here, and even with Christmas already in the shops eek: ), I hope we get a few more of them before the dark nights, and shorter days, arrive. I had a walk down to Charlie's Cafe this morning, for a coffee and a croissant. Hisham, who, with his brother, is co-owner, but seems to do most of the work, really takes pride in everything he serves. The coffee is always excellent, and the croissants were better than ever today, particularly as I arrived just as they had come out of the oven. I then headed off to get a gift for my neighbour's baby, and buy a few other things, before returning home. I think I'll go and sit out in the garden for a while, and enjoy the sunshine Hope everyone else is having a good day

Wow that croissant looks delicious as does the Charlie lamb.

This strangeness will disappear the day after next Monday. You’re off to a good day.

What could be better then all of this.

Good evening Guardians ! Busy day at the shop didn’t get any photos in!
As much as I like to cook sometimes I cheat on meals, five minutes in the microwave and it’s good to go! Would take half an hour or better to make them from scratch and I’m hungry now ! These are going to go with the meatloaf from yesterday !
I hope everyone is having a good evening !

I went to a bar with my mate, but for some reason they closed at 10.30pm, so I was back home before midnight afterall About to hit the hay now though

A cool piece Nank, it looks good with your handsome WCLF I have a very similar one, made by Chesterman , who I understand invented tape measures of this type. I still see the older ones, with leather sides, which were often used to measure cricket pitches here

Good morning Guardians, it's looking pretty dull here today. I have a few things to do in the house, then I'm going to head to the post office, to pick up a parcel, and then to the bank if I have time. Just hoping they're open (they're even cancelling hospital operations here, while some holiday-makers aren't happy). Got my Hartshead Barlow in my pocket Have a good day everyone
