I wasn’t aware that cricket pitches needed to be measured , I am completely ignorant of the game ! Is it still played pretty regular over your way?A cool piece Nank, it looks good with your handsome WCLFI have a very similar one, made by Chesterman , who I understand invented tape measures of this type. I still see the older ones, with leather sides, which were often used to measure cricket pitches here

Good morning Guardians. My usual Ebony lamb and more mist coming off the water. Enjoying it now because 90+ heat is on its way. I know that isn’t too bad compared to what some of you are experiencing, but it’s pretty hot for around here this time of the year. Have a great day!

Yes, we did, thanks I walked down to Charlie's Cafe, for a coffee and a croissant, then onto the post office, to pick up a package, then headed into town to the bank, then my other bank*, and then got some grocery shopping. I walked a bit further than I would have liked to though, as I'm trying not to get to the point where I start limping heavily, as I know things like that can 'stick'. Another day tomorrow Hope you're having a good one yourself my friend * - I thought I better get some cash before they change the currency!
