Thanks John

Yes, I've been very wary of banging it again

I had a good day though, I'm always tired when I get back mind. I remembered my Cornish pastie, as well as a nice apple for lunch, and succumbed to a doughnut with my morning coffee. I went for a haircut at Barber Brian's, with Tool Man, and as there were only the 3 of us there, we had a good old gossip about knives and guns

We were talking about the change in men's hair fashions, during our lifetimes, and Brian told us an incredible story, from back in the 70's, which I thought I'd share here:
One Saturday, a man came in with two boys. He told the boys to sit down, and told Brian that when it was their turn to give them a No2 crew-cut, before leaving again. The lads had fairly long hair, typical of the times, and Brian was a little surprised, but the boys got in the chair, and he duly cropped their heads. When he'd finished, the man still hadn't returned, so he asked them when their dad was coming back, assuming he was shopping in the market. "He's not our dad." One of the boys told him.
"What, who is he then?!" Asked Brian, wondering what was going on, and when he was getting paid.
"We were just walking down the street outside the market, and he stopped us, and said he was taking us for a haircut." Came the answer!
