Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Looking good there  :)
this sturdy mother went into my pocket today. It didn't cut anything but the climbing holds there are from Sheffield so that is something.

Jack Black Jack Black if my memory is correct then you mentioned some time ago that you once wrote for a climbing magazine? Perhaps you know of the climber behind these holds, Been Moon?

That's an interesting pic Jacques  Sheffield is a real climbing centre in England, and there are even a few of us from there! :D

You have a good memory, I was Gear Editor of Climber for a short while :) I remember when Ben Moon climbed Hubble, but as far as I recall I never met him, I could be wrong (supposed to be a nice guy). I certainly met Moffat a couple of times, (and Ron Fawcett I met many times, and considered a friend, as well as a hero). Lots of their contemporaries too of course (a good deal younger than me). I'm from an area of Sheffield called Hunter's Bar, which probably had more climbers than Everest Base Camp, some of us were childhood friends! :D

A cool photo for warm times, Todd.
Thanks Harvey. 😎👍
Do we have a consensus on cold pizza?! What does everyone else think? I usually like it both ways, but that one was definitely a lot nicer cold :)
I love cold pizza, especially in the morning.
😎👍
Sounds pretty hot to me too Todd, cool pic there buddy :)
Thanks Jack. 😎👍
I've got to teach my Lamb how to sit up like that. 🤠
It takes a lot of patience John. 🤣

Enjoy your evening Guardians.View attachment 1930594
Fantastic Dwight. 😎👍

Oh yeah, Jack Black Jack Black . I'm well aware of the old climbing scene in Sheffield and it's significance for climbing in general. Many years ago, in 2002 I believe it was, I met and climbed with Malcolm Smith for a good ten days in Fontainebleau, France. He looked .... weightless on those absurdly hard and technical problems you'll find there. AND he was the nicest and most humble guy too. Probably unlike Moffat haha.

Have a great time, Jack... and watch your head. ;)
Thanks John :) Yes, I've been very wary of banging it again  I had a good day though, I'm always tired when I get back mind. I remembered my Cornish pastie, as well as a nice apple for lunch, and succumbed to a doughnut with my morning coffee. I went for a haircut at Barber Brian's, with Tool Man, and as there were only the 3 of us there, we had a good old gossip about knives and guns :D We were talking about the change in men's hair fashions, during our lifetimes, and Brian told us an incredible story, from back in the 70's, which I thought I'd share here:

One Saturday, a man came in with two boys. He told the boys to sit down, and told Brian that when it was their turn to give them a No2 crew-cut, before leaving again. The lads had fairly long hair, typical of the times, and Brian was a little surprised, but the boys got in the chair, and he duly cropped their heads. When he'd finished, the man still hadn't returned, so he asked them when their dad was coming back, assuming he was shopping in the market. "He's not our dad." One of the boys told him.
"What, who is he then?!" Asked Brian, wondering what was going on, and when he was getting paid.
"We were just walking down the street outside the market, and he stopped us, and said he was taking us for a haircut." Came the answer!

A pleasure hearing the Barber’s story, Jack. That doughnut image is nice and appealing. Looks like. You ‘re having an A-OK day. What’s the deal with the Cos player, lol?🤣

Good Morning Guardians💂‍♀️
