Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

It's disturbingly warm here, for November, in fact we had the warmest UK November night time temperature ever last night. It isn't sunny though sadly. Still, it was nice enough to have a walk down the road to Charlie's cafe. Unfortunately, I was too early for a croissant, but I had a coffee. I then headed into town to meet my pal, and managed to get some tea and toast before he arrived. We had a coffee and a blather, before he headed back to work, and I went to buy some bread, and a few other things. By the time I'd bought my provisions, it was lunchtime, and as I was down near the market, I decided to treat myself to some chips ;)

After having a look round the market, I headed home. I'd purchased a vanilla slice in town, but since they had wrapped it in paper which wasn't waxed or greased, the icing on the top just ended up stuck to the paper  Just enjoying it with another cup of tea :) Chores to do now I'm afraid  Hope everyone else is having a good day

I always leave your posts hungry...the only way to eat "chips".
Enjoy the afternoon.

Nice picture, Todd... Hope your short week went well and enjoy your Free Friday. 🤠
Wonderful picture, Jack... Your HHB looks like it's floating in air. 🤠
Wife is home and it's raining, nowhere to hide from chores!!
You need to learn the art of "looking busy". 😁
Sounds like you've already had a bit of fun today... and ate well too. 🤠
I'm glad the flower held out long enough to get that great picture. 🤠
I’m off to pick up Pop and head down to meet Greg for a fishing trip
That sounds wonderful. Hope all of you have a great time together... and maybe even catch some fish. 🤠

Cool button. Great lighting.
Thanks Harvey, almost waited too long, the light fades fast this time of year you know.
😊👍
Time flies! Cool pic Todd 🙂👍
Thanks Jack. I remember when Mrs. Bigfish and I went because it was nine months before my daughter was born. Had to figure out a way to stay warm during those cold Canadian nights! 🤣🤣🤣
I would guess that nice lamb has some memories attached to it also.
Actually it’s relatively new, but it’s become a quick favorite for sure. 😎👍

We’ve had record warm temps the last two days here too Jack, it’s been in the 80s. Cold front moving through today, highs in the 30s tomorrow. 🥶
This one bush does not know it is almost winter here in the northeast.View attachment 1985206
The last flowers always seem to be the prettiest. Great looking lamb. 😎👍

Yikes! Going to come as shock when temperatures normalise here too  Stay warm Todd :)

...only to find that the loaf I paid £4 for on Tuesday is now unfit to eat 😠
I hate when that happens ☹️
Growing up in Detroit, our good friends to the south in Windsor, Ontario Canada, put gravy on their fries (chips). Not being a big fan of gravy in general, I never could buy into it. It's just wrong ;) :p
They also sometimes sprinkled vinegar and salt on their chips (fries) which I thought was a marvelous innovation DukeGirl.gif
