Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Very bad Dave! :p

Am I the only one getting confused by the fact we currently have ANOTHER 'Guardians of the Lambsfoot' thread?! o_O
I was very confused first thing this morning, and couldn't believe that the Forum software would allow more than one thread to have the same name, but I guess the punctuation difference "keeps it legal", although WAY less than ideal!:thumbsdown:

Black Jack helped my make a sandwich for lunch yesterday, and it's going to repeat the process in a matter of minutes!:D
(Note that blade etch is still legible.)

As a general point, I'm not sure many dealers on this side of The Pond would even know what Sambar is, and beware of misleading photos, even the ones on the A.Wright & Son site have little in common with reality, neither the stag nor the ebony looks anything like that pictured, same for the horn :(

If it stays in place, and posters pick it up subsequently with the forum search software, at least they have a helpful link posted by @OLd_gUY

Nice work on that sandwich my friend :) The Frostfoot @Cambertree kindly made for me has just helped me make one ;)

Always a good pic Jack. We actually hit a heat record in Calgary 36.4 C

Thanks pal :) Ouch! We've had temperatures close to that here this year too, seems everyone is seeing the heat! Some friends were in Sicily a couple of weeks back, and the temperatures were crazy!

Luxury. You were lucky! Where I live we are thankful if the temperature drops to 200 degrees F (93.3 C)!

No, my new reading glasses fell apart! Otherwise it's not been bad ;) :D

I can relate. They never last long with all of the wear and tear involved in carrying them around, and putting them on, taking them off. One of the best decisions I’ve made was to abandon those cheap readers, bite the bullet, and go with bifocals.

I don't think my oven goes that high!! :D
Sorry. Still laughing at the Four Yorkshiremen sketch someone posted recently. It does get hot here every year, and we have had temperatures lately from 95 to over 100 degrees F (35-38 C) lately. On the other hand, I have seen snow in my hometown three times: 1967, 2004, and 2017. I'd rather put up with the heat.

I wanted photochromic lenses for my distance specs, so I didn't want to go with bifocals (that and other reasons). I have a friend, (and he is far from alone in this), who buys his readers from the £1 Shop, and he seems to do OK with them. I paid £150 for mine, and I've had to take them back 3 times! It's the first time I've had this much trouble with readers (tried a different opticians this time), but I have to say, looking at them, and the previous pairs I've had, yeah, the frames might be a little better, the lenses are certainly thinner, and probably more optically correct, but there's no darn way they are 150 times better than the ones my tight-fisted friend gets from the £1 Shop! o_O :D

LOL! Yes, very good my friend :) Here's the Python version (or one of them) ;)

I have to say I heard a lot of that sort of stuff growing up! One of the most common phrases I remember hearing from older people was, "An' we never had no bananas for three years you know!" :D

Edit - Actually, it might even have been FIVE years! :D :D

Carried my Guardian today on my "Friday," to show my knife buddy at work. He was impressed!

My plan this weekend is to carry it with me on my annual "guys" trip! I'm sure there will be many pictures to follow.
Good stuff Taylor should be some mighty fine pics.

I am kinda wondering if this will be the first time or maybe in a long time since someone has carried a lambsfoot knife in the town....
