Oh man there are some great shots of some Great Knives being posted!
I actually took a picture!!!! although nothing too arty or showing any stunning background I am so sorry everyone
My carry of late - my awesome AC - LOVE that little guy to bits!!!
As well as my latest Vintage Sheffield Lambsfoot - not the long slender version by any means- the Knife has had next to no use but has not been stored all that fussily and has been exposed to its surroundings over the years, Features the classic Sheffield Jig work - I saw this and thought I better grab it! As you can see I will need to clean the Jigged Bone- that will be nice and easy!
H. Deakin Sheffield, I found a Deakin in Sheffield ( James Deakin ), but not with the initial of H.

Afternoon Guardians! Made it out to Kneeblers Pond and wandered around for a while. Kneeblers Pond is an old gravel pit on the Walnut river. Took the Scout XT and did a little plinking. Sure was nice to get out and enjoy nature and the nice weather. Then went to the BNSF Depot and watched trains for a bit. Happy trails!

Great to see you here pal, I hope you're doing OKLooks like your AC has been getting plenty of love
I love your new acquisition, reminds me of my Unity. James Deakin is definitely the better-known firm, I'll have a look if Sir Geoffrey of Tweedale mentions a H. Deakin

Nice find, those are rare as hen's teethFound this one locally yesterday
The temperature had dropped here, when I went out this morning, but it wasn't raining at least. I had some business to take care of, and then walked down to Charlie's cafe, where I found myself simultaneously speaking English, Arabic, and Italian (the dozen words I know of it), at one point![]()

After polishing off a coffee, and a blackcurrant croissant, I went into town, where I needed to go to the bank, and had some other errands to run. I passed through the market, and bought some bread, noticing that the city centre's worst pub had put their Christmas decorations up early! They usually make a special effort at this time of year

I did some shopping, and managed to pick up one of the delicious chicken, bacon, and mushroom pies I had a couple of weeks backBy the lunchtime, the temperature had risen to the high 30's, but then the heaven's opened! I'm just drying out with a mug of hot soup
