Thank you Harvey. Hoping you have a great dayWishing you well, Pete as your challenges continue. Mighty nice shot,
That's the same rule in my house... keeps everything harmonious.Whatever the wife says! Lol
Sorry your plans got scrapped, but that looks like a good plan B.
I hate when that happens... I usually jerk it off the wall, throw it in the garage, and go back to bed.
Those triple bolsters are the stuff of dreams.
What a great picture... and Lambsfoot.
That looks wonderful... sorry you weren't able to complete the challenge, but the Charlie Lamb is a worthy replacement.
Welcome Aboard.
You're "slaying" it, Dwight.
Pretty Lambsfoot, my friend.
I choose Happy too, my friend... and I'd choose that Lambsfoot too if I had it.
Great start Pete, hope everything slows down a bit for you.Good morning all. It’s been a spastic paced week, including yesterday. Work continues to challenge and we are still working to get fully moved into the new house.
Regardless, every day is a gift and we get to choose happiness or not. I choose happy.
Still dark outside and it’s very quiet. Lovely.

Beautiful lamb and image Harvey.
Very exciting times John.Good Morning Guardians
Sorry I've been absent for the past couple of days.
I was adopted at birth and never knew either of my bio parents.
I have recently been getting to know some of my half brothers and sisters via 23andMe... It's been keeping me pretty busy.

I would do the same but only at 32CIt's just as sunny out today as it was the day I took this picture - just not as warm. Just checked the thermometer on our back porch and the temperature is up to a balmy 32º . If it goes any higher, I'm thinking about breaking out my beach blanket.

As discussed before, it all depends on the tempering. Get that right and you will have a good blade, i have a C70 steel blade that must have been done perfectly. Takes a fantastic edge and more importantly keeps it. Does not matter what steel they use if they don't get the tempering right, it is irrelevant.I have to say though, I've been very happy with the C70 steel
Thanks a lot. It is 6.30AM on Monday morning, now i have a hankering for some sausages for breakfast, and i am going to have to wait till 8.30 till Aldi opens, they have the best " snags ".Not a sausage sammich,
Thanks buddy, I've certainly had worse weekendsSorry your plans got scrapped, but that looks like a good plan B.![]()

Yes indeed, most of Wright's HT is farmed out. They don't always get it right, but mostly they do. The main problem they've had with HT over the years is blade warping, something they've been rather complacent about I think. I've previously used vacuum-hardening, but Wright's prefer the cheap route, as do most of their customers. As discussed before, it all depends on the tempering. Afternoon Guardians! Made it out to Kneeblers Pond and wandered around for a while. Kneeblers Pond is an old gravel pit on the Walnut river. Took the Scout XT and did a little plinking. Sure was nice to get out and enjoy nature and the nice weather. Then went to the BNSF Depot and watched trains for a bit. Happy trails!
