Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Did a search for O1 knives a while back and what do you know but a lambsfoot appeared. Having admired the knives in this thread I put in my order.
Only had it for a day now and only put a basic edge on it for now but I like how sturdy it is. Wish the stag was thicker at the pile side center pin and a little better matched but that is a bit of its charm as well.

Welcome to the Guardians. Haven't seen you posting for a while, you will like it here, a great group of people, and very knowledgeable. Regarding your purchase, i personally think you have got some good stag there in the current climate/market. Really good stag is so hard to get now, but yours is okay. Hope to see more of you here. :)

The patina on that HHB is spectacular!
Thank you Dwight, it's looking just as I'd hoped :)
Still totin this one today.View attachment 1993443

Stay warm my friend :)
It’s chilly here, too, but hey… at least we didn’t get 6 feet of snow. 😳

Yikes! That some snow dump Barrett! Keep warm brother :)

Good morning Guardians, hope everyone is having a great weekend :) It isn't raining here today, but is dull and overcast. I was supposed to be going to watch my mate's youngest play football this morning, but the lad isn't very well. Hoping we can meet up anyway at some point :) I'm very intrigued by these O1 Lambsfoot blades, and be interested to hear from anyone who has one, on what they think. When Cambertree Cambertree and I were very first talking about the possibility of getting Wright's to up their game, and do some SFOs, O1 blades was the first thing we discussed, and Wright's were adamant in their rejection of it. Different owner then, but the current owner was party to those discussions, and took the same position. I have to say though, I've been very happy with the C70 steel. Carrying my Wee Staggy today :) Enjoy your Sunday Guardians

Happy Saturday Guardians. My personal challenge for November for the HHB as the only knife for the month failed miserably, but I’m still okay with it. Too many knives, not enough time. Charlie Lamb today.

Hope everyone has a peaceful weekend, especially our American Guardians for their Thanksgiving!

Edit - Just realized I’m a few days early for Thanksgiving. Next Thursday. Sentiment still applies ;)
A fine stag lamb with great character.

TX , glad you shared your lamb with us. Time will help give your knife character. Hope you have a good rocker to sit here on the " porch". I've found it fascinating.

Very nice capture of knife and countryside Jack.
Let Sunday be a good one.
Thank you Bob, it's an old pic from a couple of years back :) It was one of the hottest summer days we'd had at the time, and I had a great walk along a section of the Leeds-Liverpool canal from Gargrave to Skipton, in North Yorkshire :) I figured we could all use a little sunshine ;)

Thanks for sharing. It will be an inside day...30° and 35 mph wind.

Good morning all. It’s been a spastic paced week, including yesterday. Work continues to challenge and we are still working to get fully moved into the new house.

Regardless, every day is a gift and we get to choose happiness or not. I choose happy.

Still dark outside and it’s very quiet. Lovely.

Great choice on both counts. Attitude and knife.

Sorry to hear you're struggling Pete, I hope the pace at work gets easier soon, and that you finish settling in at home :) Blood Lamb is looking good, as always :)
There always seems a chore waiting as a substitute for a nice walk.😏
My house is full of chores Bob, but when the weather is nice, I let them wait! :D ;)

Thanks Jack, we are getting it done slow and steady. I appreciate the well wishes. Hoping you get some sunshine soon
