LOL! The guy who gave it to me told me he rented a small warehouse, and he found some SPAM promotional items there, mainly caps and T-shirts, but there were also earrings! Priceless!

I just recently tried jalapeno spam for the first time, and pan fried it was absolutely delicious!

I've not had Spam for a very long time, but do find humble food can be very satisfying. I always liked corned beef and onions fried in olive oil, which was a real treat when I lived in the Middle East

I now find myself thinking about lunch

Annual "man trip," in the books. Me and my buddies go to Virginia City, Nevada. Every year same weekend in August. It's a great time. The town is a "living ghost town," at one point one of the richest cities in the world. . Here are some pictures of the trip. And of course the knife I carried. I'm just gonna venture out there and say this is the first real Lambsfoot to Grace the boardwalks!

An amazing view. You can see old mine tailings from the Bonanza strike.

There a large population of wild horses that wander in and out of town. They are beautiful!

Last pic, after a weekend worth of lime cutting, this patina is strong!
