Hope everyone is having a good day I'm hearing lots of snow-related horror stories on the radio, but they're not matched by what I can see out of my window I was hoping to go for a walk tomorrow though, take a few pics, but I now have to wait in for the mail, and the postie might not come until mid afternoon Hope everyone has something nice planned

When I was a new poster here, I made a very similar post inviting people to contact me if they needed help getting hold of Sheffield knives. I received an infraction for 'Deal Spotting' It's still on my record! Lesson learned

Hmm I only noticed because they cancelled my deliveries. If I hadn't had 4 emails from them they were delivering them today, I wouldn't have known! Unfortunately, I'll have to wait in for them tomorrow now

Maybe they should adopt the Postal Service creed. (Of course, as that Wikipedia page will tell you, it’s unofficial, and the USPS does sometimes delay service due to weather.)

I've carried this, used it, even made peanut butter sandwiches with it, but today, I Flitzed it, oiled it, put it in it's waxed paper wrapper, and put it in it's tube along with it's button. Looks pretty good all spiffy and shiny. If you look closely, you can even see the ghost of the blade etch "Real Lambfoot Knife". Don't know what's in it's future but it'll be nice and cozy in a knife drawer until I decide. Who knows - maybe it'll go back to sandwich making.

Beautiful duo of HHB's Barrett.

First I have to thank Jakeywax31...Paul. He led me to a trade that I was not aware of...he could have made it himself. His unselfishness meant my joy.
I can now appreciate the joy and magic surrounding this knife. It epitomizes what a lamb should be.

Good morning Guardians. Some foul weather coming today. Cold and rainy (but we really need the rain). Finished up the sausage making and fried up a sample for taste testing. My best effort's to date for sure! One of my neighbors has an extensive herb garden and I was allowed to harvest some fresh Marjoram, Tyme and Sage to add to my concoction. However, my secret ingredient is that for every 10 pounds of pork I also ad 2 pounds of apple wood cured bacon. Oh man! I package 1 lb quantities, use a hog ring to seal each bag, and then put them in the freezer. My HHB helped the process along when need for odd jobs like harvesting the fresh spices/herbs

The new owners of that company must be STUPID to start making some of their iconic range overseas, it's not as if they are inexpensive!

I’ve decided the standard procedure for anyone buying a successful company these days is to immediately have it stop doing everything which had made it successful. (Usually in the name of efficiency.)

Those nickel silver bolsters won't patina easily, GEC used the good stuff!

I think the bolsters on the waynorth lambsfoot are steel, or at least iron Jack. I don't see the slightest hint of yellow in the metal, but even more telling, the bolsters attract a magnet.
