Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

The prices aren't fun Paul, more expensive than firearms! I got 10 of these new bolts, 10 less expensive bodkin bolts, 2 of their plastic 'speed-loaders', one of which arrived broken, and a new 90lb prod, and it came to £200! So far I think I've spent about £2,500 on it! 🤯 I could be festooned with Glocks for half of that! I'm glad that you were able to handle a Hartshead Barlow :) Thanks buddy, you too
2,500 would get you some serious firepower over here. Never got into crossbows but hunt with a compound upright bow. I am sure I will dabble with it in the future.
After leaving Charlie's I headed into town, and went to the bank and the post office. I picked up some bread, and a couple of other things, and had a chat with a couple of stall-holders I know. Then I crossed to the other side of the city centre, called in a cafe for another coffee, bought a few second-hand DVDs, and a few things from the Chilli Shop (got some chilli crunch on order) ;)
Looks like a great little stroll around city centre Jack. I am a spice and chilli fan as well. The only thing to take me down was a fresh Carolina Reaper pepper. My son dared me and I was not up to the challenge. Worst 24 hours of my life.

That's a much nicer weapon I think Paul  The last time I was able to buy a firearm here was in 1982 or '83, and it cost me less than a tenth of that! :eek  This crossbow is good fun, but I'd rather be shooting! 🧐

looks like you had half a lambsfoot overnight 😂 Joking aside, I hope it warms up and melts off soon.

I hear you, Jack. Sounds like you are making the best out of the strict laws in the UK. Great photo of the Charlie Lamb and crossbow. Soup looks delicious.
Had some nice weather this weekend. Another storm is coming in tonight. I drove into town and took a walk this morning along the cliffs. I’m finishing up the rest of the morning out back with my cat. I got a picture of the quail. The quail are entertaining for sure.

Crossbow stuff!!! Sounds like fun. That is a hefty fee my friend and feel bad that folks are having to fork over that kind of cash to receive stuff they have already purchased. I can completely understand not kicking the HHB out of the pocket. I had the pleasure of handling one over the weekend and it was so nice. Have a great day today, Jack.

Those croissants just look ridiculously delicious Jack. I am sure it was scrumptious.

Overindulged on Cadbury eggs when I was a kid and get queasy every time I think about them. Lamb is looking sweet Jer.

Back to life today with work and the normal routine but that is good. Left the burrito at the store and just grabbed a banana. Feeling hungry now😂😂 Leaving that delicious burrito on the hot plate at the Kwik Trip was a mistake:). Got the ebony lamb in the pocket today. Have a great day everyone.

Nice patina on the lamb! Hard to pass on a breakfast that has become routine but hope you get an early lunch!

That is some serious outlay Jack! Too bad the taxman adds insult to the injury!

LOL my son had a reaper wings eating contest last year with a couple of friends... it was all fun and games until they got out to the parking lot and were bent over the curb getting rid of the fire through mouth and nose... o_O I think those are the last wings he's had...

You'll have to share what when you get it Jack. I've never heard of it.

That is amazing Bob. Don't believe I've ever seen black palm before. Simply gorgeous.

Arkansas at one time had some of the finest quail hunting in the country. They are all gone now and have been for at least 30 years. Your place looks lovely.

Thank you Dwight. My friend was working with some, which gave me the idea. It just so happened that Michael May had some.

I don't remember seeing that lamb, what a beauty.

Yeah, I don't really recommend that firm, always coming up with new improvements to products they didn't get right in the first place, then hiking their prices up like crazy
Looks like a delicious lunch and a much loved lamb!
Thanks Michael :)
