Oh boy. BE STILL MY BEATING HEART.
Wow. Be careful out there. Nature never ceases to amaze.Who keeps shaking the snow globe here. There was none on the truck last nightView attachment 2131934View attachment 2131935
When I was younger in the 80’s quail were thick north of San Antonio. They are very scarce now. I have heard it is a result of feral cats and fire ants.Arkansas at one time had some of the finest quail hunting in the country. They are all gone now and have been for at least 30 years. Your place looks lovely.
Thank you Pete....very nice showing of your ebonyEbony today. View attachment 2132525
Thank you David. I was going for something different.Black Palm wood covers are nice!![]()

No fun and no games for me. I ordered the pepper from Puckerbutt Pepper Company. The guy that invented that pepper owns it. It was hellfire the minute it touched my mouth. That pain was nothing compared to the agony that nightLOL my son had a reaper wings eating contest last year with a couple of friends... it was all fun and games until they got out to the parking lot and were bent over the curb getting rid of the fire through mouth and nose...I think those are the last wings he's had...
After leaving Charlie's I headed into town, and went to the bank and the post office. I picked up some bread, and a couple of other things, and had a chat with a couple of stall-holders I know. Then I crossed to the other side of the city centre, called in a cafe for another coffee, bought a few second-hand DVDs, and a few things from the Chilli Shop (got some chilli crunch on order)![]()

Thanks Barrett. The Arkansas item is one of the coasters Cherri, Dwight's wife, made for me as a gift. She is quite talented. She made a wooden ladle also.Looks like you got some good stuff at the Chili Shop, Jack! The Sheffield Wednesday sauce looks interesting, but I’m not sure about “Founder Member Flavour”…
Good looking Lamb, I like the covers. What is the Arkansas-shaped wood item?
Those Albers Lambs are stunning. I’m kind of hoping he sticks to one cover material for a couple drops, just to spread the love a bit.
Spring has to come eventually… right?!
What is this “green” of which you speak? We’ve got some driveway markers at the end of the driveway (mostly to keep the snowplow drivers from jumping the curb and tearing up the yard, which happened once). Anyways, they’re 48” tall (minus the 4” or so that’s sunk into the ground), and top the pile of snow that I’ve shoveled next to the driveway all winter is just now getting below the top of those markers.
Recycled pic, dreaming of summer.

The wood on your lamb is crazy nice. Love the grain pattern.
Yeah, I got a small taste of Wisconsin/Minnesota spring this past weekend Barrett. I’m thinking that was enough for me!What is this “green” of which you speak? We’ve got some driveway markers at the end of the driveway (mostly to keep the snowplow drivers from jumping the curb and tearing up the yard, which happened once).
