Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Had some fancy sharp stuff in the pockets early and then swapped for a more utilitarian setup. The rosewood Lamb (a gift from a high quality Guardian btw) is a beast around the property.

We hiked and swam and partied earlier in the week. Now the minions get a solid dose of manual labor.

I don’t like paying for mulch, especially when that extra hundred bucks needs to be funding a knife purchase! That’s when we get these capable lil warriors out here raking up pine needles.

I have no clue what the blonde boy is wearing. He could be color blind 😂.

Sounds good Jon, my kids thought that manual labour was a Spanish guitarist! 😁 Great pics 🙂👍
Jack here in the states, no company can perform work in the rights-of-way without a contract or license agreement. Those documents will have requirements for the private company to return the pavement to pre work conditions.

Problem is, if the city is not following up on the work then they well get crappy work repairs, usually. Ask me how I know. 😂

You may wish to go speak in citizens comment. Shame is a powerful motivator. Good luck.
I would imagine it is the same here Pete, and I know that the city council have a legal duty of care to maintain roads and footpaths in a fit state. I'm grateful for your knowledge buddy 👍

Thanks Pete!

Yessir. Trying to build confident kids…didn’t think I’d be doing it with crazy bright clothes and flowing blonde hair. He has been called a girl so much by mistake by adults it has built up his confidence that he doesn’t have to give a crap what random people say. I’ll take it though!

Ha! I think “Manuel Labõr” was my father’s favorite singer. I think it was the soundtrack of my youth 😂.

Jack now that looks like a proper cup and you lamb is looking phenomenal. I hope your ankle is not too bad and you heal up quickly.
I'm afraid I didn't get very far gents, I sprained my ankle, close to the bottom of my street, for the fourth time since Christmas! The pavements and road would give Bulgaria a run for its money! Apart from Council neglect, the main problem is that both the pavements, and the road, are being constantly dug up by private (mainly internet) companies, who just patch up the holes they've dug with tarmac. On a less bright day, I might record a video of it, but you can get an idea of the state of the road from these photos

LOL! :D Good observation Jer! :D

Looking good Daniel :)

After slowly hobbling back up the road to get a cane, and taking some more photos, I hobbled down to Charlie's, and then caught a bus to the post office up the road, before returning home again. It's pretty hot outside

Paul I’m hoping you’re finally going to get your family. I did that same thing last year this time.
I have been absent the last couple of days. If anything was directed towards me and I missed it, I apologize. Flying back to Texas in the morning. About to head off near the airport and get a hotel room. I hope everyone had a great weekend. 93 Charlie lamb in the pocket today.

Thanks David, annoying not to be able to walk down my own street, in the heart of the city, in safety. I never twisted my ankle in my climbing and mountaineering days  Fine photo of your Lollipop Lamb, and that looks like an interesting read

Thanks a lot Daniel, my ankle is better than it was yesterday, which is a good sign  That looks least a feast my friend :)
At the airport lambless 😔. I hope they are nice and safe being loaded on the correct airplane. Know where can I find some coffee 😆🤣😂. Hope everyone is having a good one.
I hope your flock lands safe and sound Paul, and that you have an easy flight :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, Beautiful weather here, and it is already pretty hot at 10.30am. I was supposed to be going for a walk in the woods, and some slingshot plinking, with my mate Matt, and his lad, but I may have to re-think that :( Certainly got plenty to do in the house, but it'd be a shame to miss this unusually good weather entirely ;) I'm carrying my Albers Lamb  Have a great day Guardians :)

Beautiful portrait of your lamb Jack.😉 Best to rest your ankle and miss a walk, then extend your aches.

They give out the temperature in Celsius here these days, which I am only vaguely familiar with, and so when I heard it was going to be 30 degrees this weekend, I just knew it was going to be hotter than last week. I was talking to a middle-aged couple, and was surprised when they referred to the temperature in Celsius. I said that I was still on 'old money', and the chap told me 30 degrees was 96F. So, yesterday, I kept thinking, 'Well, it's a nice day, but it feels more like the 80's than the 90's.' On the radio, they tend to focus on London and the south, where the weather can be very different to the north, where I live. I just looked it up though, 30C is 86F, not 96F! 😏😁
