Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I've been sat outside in my front garden, finishing the novel I took to Bulgaria, and hoping there might be something of worth in the final few chapters  I was disappointed, but enjoying sitting out in the sunshine ;)

You should reread Moby Dick, David Copperfield, 1984, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. You won't be disappointed then! (My favourite novels, by the way, if Homer, Dante, & Shakespeare don't count as novelists. Oh, and whoever wrote Beowulf!)

Aren't dogs great?

Love yer handle. If I changed mine to "Choleric Waiter", would that be a copywright infringement?
They are the best! And yes I welcome the Choleric Waiter!

My handle came from being a food service waiter while also playing online games where I liked to wait for my quarry…

Ah the good old times…

😎

I was a waiter, and also a room service waiter at the Hilton. But my best job was dishwasher at an old diner in the summer of 1977.

I washed dishes at a Red Lobster in the mid nineties. Had a blast. Bartender brought me a cup of Tanqueray each shift at around 9pm. 👍😆
Was a waiter at a seafood restaurant in 1985, and tried a martini for the first time there after work. Did not like it. But now it's my favorite cocktail--with Tanqueray, of course! Would have gone into the restaurant business, but didn't want to work nights and weekends.

Yes sir. That is the rub of such a fun industry. Basically you are working when everyone else is relaxing. 👍👍

You are spot on Vince.

I've read 1984 about a dozen times Vince, and re-read Moby Dick and Tom Sawyer, (I much prefer Huckleberry Finn), a few years back. I've read a lot of fiction in my life, but these days I regard it as a treat, and most of the books I read are non-fiction. As I was going to Bulgaria, the Bulgarian novel was recommended (online) as essential reading. I found it very mediocre ☹️

My current flock. The two middle are rosewood, courtesy of tmd_87 tmd_87 and Modoc ED Modoc ED . The other two I bought (had another which I gifted). Awesome knives, every one.
About bloody time! 😛😁 👍

I read Tom Sawyer when I was 9 or 10 and really loved it. Maybe identified with Tom somewhat. But Huck was a nicer guy, for sure. A noble character. Jim too. Maybe especially Jim.

A handsome quartet of lambdom Vince. With regard to dishwashing... I do all the dishwashing here at home. No dishwasher (other than myself). Got in the habit from the fire department. If you cook then you don't have to do the dishes. :)

Have a great week all.

Thank you Jack. 🤠

Beautiful Lamb!🤠
Thank you David :)
Afternoon Guardians! Lots of nice Lambs out today. Ethan is riding shotgun today.

Nice to see Ethan, that looks like an interesting read :)

When this book first came out, it had a different title, and 'Ray' was 'Raymond', which is what he was known as then. I once read him described as looking like "a plump village butcher"! :D

I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. Since Friday I have been watching our pups and the sister-in-law’s pups. So I got pups. 😂

I've never had a martini! :D

I agree Vince :) Huckleberry Finn was the first novel I read as a child, and re-reading it a few years ago, I wondered how I could have understood it, though I remembered most of it perfectly well. It struck me as adult fiction, compared to Tom Sawyer. I'm afraid that, as an adult, I found Tom rather irritating! :D
Chalk time!!!!! Good to have a lamb back in the pocket. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Glad you and your Lambs made it safe and sound Paul :) That one is a beauty  I used to have one of those little toys sitting on top of my PC, had it for years, but it got broken a few years ago :(

Same here Dwight, I have turned them down several times. By and large though, I have been the cook. Now, I get to to do the cooking, and the dishes! 😱😁
All is right with the world again. Chico's Tacos!!!!!

LOL! :D Welcome home! :) Another great Lambsfoot pic Paul :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a great weekend :) We have a week of sunshine forecast here, and it looks pretty nice outside. I have a few things to do this morning, and then, ankle permitting, I'll be heading down to Charlie's cafe, and then into town. Carrying my Charlie Lamb in jigged bone :) Have a good day Guardian, and an excellent week :)

A fine looking classic Jack.

I wonder what will be said of these great lambs in 100 years?

Now, excuse me, I have dishes to wash.
Enjoy your week.

Thank you Bob, I hope these fine examples will be seen as the start of an international Lambsfoot Renaissance, with many, many more exceptional Lambsfoot patterns :)

I'm leaving the dishes to Charlie 😉😁👍
