Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you David :)

Nice to see Ethan, that looks like an interesting read :)

When this book first came out, it had a different title, and 'Ray' was 'Raymond', which is what he was known as then. I once read him described as looking like "a plump village butcher"! :D

Dog Day Afternoon? :D Cool pics Pete, looks like fun :)

I've never had a martini! :D

I agree Vince :) Huckleberry Finn was the first novel I read as a child, and re-reading it a few years ago, I wondered how I could have understood it, though I remembered most of it perfectly well. It struck me as adult fiction, compared to Tom Sawyer. I'm afraid that, as an adult, I found Tom rather irritating! :D

Glad you and your Lambs made it safe and sound Paul :) That one is a beauty  I used to have one of those little toys sitting on top of my PC, had it for years, but it got broken a few years ago :(

Same here Dwight, I have turned them down several times. By and large though, I have been the cook. Now, I get to to do the cooking, and the dishes! 😱😁

LOL! :D Welcome home! :) Another great Lambsfoot pic Paul :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a great weekend :) We have a week of sunshine forecast here, and it looks pretty nice outside. I have a few things to do this morning, and then, ankle permitting, I'll be heading down to Charlie's cafe, and then into town. Carrying my Charlie Lamb in jigged bone :) Have a good day Guardian, and an excellent week :)

I have some binoculars bigger than that. No wonder I'm still kickin'.
Raymond must have been good at surviving to get pudgy at it.

High Spade is back.

"Start with a clever idea and bold ingredients, and the cooking almost takes care of itself."
I don't know where I got the idea that Milk Street has a system, but I'm over it.
Mind you, they look like good recipes, and they're limited to six ingredients, and most use only one pot or pan.

Well, he lived with his mum for a long time :) I reckon that, by the time that edition was published, Ray was a good deal older, and plumper, than in that youthful cover pic! :D
Good morning Guardians, I see that Bob is K'rooin' things up again! ;) Such nice lambs! Gidge is still riding pretty in my RFP.

Ya GOTTA try one! Irene Ryan, who played Granny on the Beverly Hillbillies, and drank moonshine/corn whiskey/rheumatiz medicine/tonic from a jug as Granny on the show, actually indulged in martinis at lunch and Scotch in the evenings.
Try the Dean Martini: four onces of gin and an olive. Similar to Churchill's, I guess--he also skipped the vermouth, just glancing in the direction of France.

Yeah, I find Tom more irritating now too. He needed lots of whuppings, just like I did.

Very cool pic Jon  :)

Yeah, I should Vince :) Is there a martini with 4 ounces of VODKA and an olive?! :D

I think Tom is far worse in Huckleberry Finn, and definitely deserved a few whuppings! :D
