I hope everyone is having a good day The weather is about as good as it gets here in Yorkshire, and hopefully it's going to hang in for the weekend I enjoyed having coffee and croissants, with Wolfie, at Charlie's, before he went off to his boxing training. I had to go into town, so after getting my jobs done, had an early lunch at the Tunisian stall in the market. I had to pick up at a parcel on the way home, so had a lemonade on the pavement outside Charlie's, before walking back up the hill

Relaxing at grandma's house watching Mickey Mouse with the young one . I despise this show .

Thankfully both of mine are done with that particular show, now, but even your brief mention of it has the song stuck in my head. “Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog…” Are your kids into Bluey? I’ve found that to be the most tolerable (I might even venture to say enjoyable) of all the kids shows I’ve been forced to watch. It even made the traditional knives in movies (and TV shows) thread.

Enjoy your time back in TX, and I hope the trip up to WI goes smoothly. Are y’all driving up with the kids?

Enjoy that nice weather, Jack! When I woke up this morning it had dipped down into the 40s here, but it’s lovely out now, sunny and in the low 70s. Thankfully the smoky air we’ve had the last few days has cleared up.

At the moment I’m not envious of those Guardians dealing with 100+ degree days, but I will say, having lived in both extremes (Phoenix and now Minnesota), for me the heat was easier to deal with than the cold and snow.

I’ve got my Albers Lamb with me again today. We’re taking the girls to see the newest Pixar movie at the theater tonight.

I posted in the Totin' Thread, but may as well here, too. I've put Bagpipe Ebony Big'un away in the Lambsfoot box and am carrying Wee Staggy Lamb for a while.

For some reason, I prefer either the large or small sized lambsfoot knives. The medium doesn't quite fit my hand as well.

The Mickey/Peppa talk has me taking deep breaths. All four of mine were Peppa Pig crazy for a string of years and my eyeballs cross insanely when that theme music cranks. With my youngest turning 10, I’m officially now out of the cartoon only phase.

It’s all good times though! The dad life is good.

Thanks Jack, the girls liked the movie. I had a free popcorn and drink through the theater’s rewards program, and the girls each got a free small ICEE because it was the opening weekend for the movie, so I feel like I saved a fortune!
