Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

It was surprisingly tasty for poolside cafe/snack bar food. Grilled chicken with BBQ sauce, cheese and bacon.
That sounds like an absolute feast! 😋
Oh all the paint that didn’t come off in the pool stuck around for the rest of the day (including while we went grocery shopping later on). 😁
🤣
I don’t remember the model (TI-83 maybe), but the Texas Instruments graphing calculator everyone had when I was in high school was a big deal because you could play games on it during class. 😁
Calculators were fairly basic when I was at school, and not allowed. Our teachers possibly thought of them as a passing phase, which would never replace slide-rules or log tables! :D
There’s still a bit of dirty snow still sticking around at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, leftover from their giant winter snow pile.

Incredible!
That sauce sounds interesting, Jack. I was in a shop the other day with a decent selection of different hot sauces, but I didn’t buy anything, as I’ve still got a bottle or two I bought to try and haven’t opened yet.
There's a good one in Leeds Barrett, the guy who runs it thinks I am some kind of connoisseur because I go in asking about the condiments you good folks recommend! 🤣
Your Albers Lamb is looking good.

Thank you my friend, yours too :)
I have not crossed paths with that one Jack but I’ll be on the lookout now!

Great picture Dwight!

Be interested to hear what you think Pete, I had it on my burger tonight, along with a hot, sweet coriander sauce 😋 Cool pic of your Albers Lamb :)

This has been an odd month for weather here, we've had a lot of rain the last few days, and it's cool in the evenings, cool enough to want to put the heating on. I hope it picks up a bit, summer is short enough here as it is

I like the way Jeremy does his pocket slips, tapering them is a cool idea

Weather... Hot sauce... Two things that have been on my mind lately.

Canadian wildfire smoke looms over Pittsburgh today. Air advisory again, high humidity and just unpleasant outside. I'm sure it's nothing compared to the areas effected by the wildfire, or those in the US suffering extreme heat..

Hot sauce... I put Red Devil on pretty much everything but I've run out and can't seem to locate another bottle! Great flavor and a mild heat. Of course, good old sriracha in the big plastic rooster bottle is one of my favorites as well. Put that on your hard boiled eggs! Oh yeah!

Time to swerve back on topic and share my entry for review by the Guardians. A nice 4" A. Wright with stag. Stag is a first for me and it's really something else! I like it. That gnarly gouge in the back kinda through me off in the photos, but in hand it's really neat. The knife is finished well and very sharp. My only nitpick is that the pull is crazy! I'm sure it will smooth out over time.

I've probably looked at A. Wright a hundred times and I'm finally glad to get a hold of one of their pieces! I don't know if he wants to be named here but thanks for the help in locating the knife!

Jack the peaks are at about 9700ft in at 4700
Very industrious Daniel, that's crazy about the snow! How high are those mountains? Hope you have a great time in Texas, and that you find some shade down there :)

After my Thai lunch, I didn't feel too hungry, so I've just had a cheeseburger 😋 Does anyone else like BBQ sauce (hot, sweet, and smokey) on their corn-on-the-cob, or is it just me?! :D

That's burlishous. Great capture Dwight.
Thanks Bob.
What a beauty !
Thanks Steve.
Dwight, that is an absolutely stunning image
Much obliged Jack.
Great picture Dwight!
Thanks pal.
That gnarly gouge in the back kinda through me off
That's what we call beautiful super fine soup bone. And a very stiff pull is quite normal on a lambsfoot.
Great knife and pic!
Thank you David.

Very nice! As for the pull, my A. Wright knives have a heavier pull than any of the ones I have by Case, Buck, Victorinox, Opinel, GEC, Camillus, Schrade, etc. I think the only knife I have with a similar heavy pull is my Douk-Douk.

Good-looking choice Jer :)

I worry that breathing in all that smoke is going to wreck people's lungs, especially the youngsters :( Looks like you got a nice Lambsfoot there Rick, cool soupy stag  If you're struggling with the pull, check out the Thread Index linked to in post #1

The lighting is not great--will try to get a pic in the sun soon--but I really love this Desert Ironwood from Jack's 2019 SFO. Such a beautiful wood!
We got some nice wood there Vince :)

Good morning Guardians, hope your week got off to a good start. I'm going to try to catch up with some work today  Thought I'd carry my 2018 Ebony Guardians Lambsfoot :) Have a good day everyone

Sadly you are correct Jack.
Have not been out and about lately, so some mundane pics.
Have a good one Jack.
