Good morning Guardians, had some connection problems this morning, so I'm a bit late getting online. I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend :)

When I was buying a sourdough loaf yesterday, I also picked up some focaccia. I usually buy the seasalt and rosemary, but they had baked garlic and rosemary this week. I wasn't hungry, so just had a couple of fat slices, with some decent olive oil, and some stuff I brought back from Bulgaria. The Bulgarian tradition is to have the mixture of salt and spices with bread, which they sort of squash into it. I think my jar will be going in the bin! 😣

I'm afraid my back is still very sore, and it's making life difficult. Putting together this darn chair didn't help, but the box took up so much space, I had to put it together. Can't say I'm very impressed with it, and I doubt it will be that long before I have to look for another :rolleyes:

The weather is a little better here today, but I need to try and get some housework done, so I think I'm going to be indoors all day. Carrying my Albers :) Hope you all have a great Sunday Guardians :) :thumbsup:

Thanks Steve, but I've given up! 😵‍💫 It's 6am here now anyway, but I'm not going to feel great later :( I have a few things to do this morning, and then I'm meeting my ex's daughter, Eve for lunch, but I might end up face down in the food! 😴 To make matters worse, we're going to the movies after, which is sure to put me to sleep! 😖

Hope everyone is having a good day. There's been sunshine and showers all day here, it really came down heavy a few times, despite no forecast of rain, only for the sun to then come out 15 minutes later :rolleyes: I had coffee at Charlie's, then went to a different post office branch to have another go at mailing mitch13 mitch13 's giveaway prize. Strangely, there was quite a different procedure here, much quicker, and if the woman behind the counter didn't know what a Lambsfoot was, she never asked ;) I headed into town, went to the bank, and had mint tea in the market, before going to meet Eve for a Thai lunch. That was very tasty, and my favourite waiter, who has just had 3 weeks in Thailand, even brought me a gift back :) We headed off to the cinema, but there was a discrepancy between the times given on their website, and the actual film times, which wasn't at all helpful. Having missed the first 15 minutes of the movie, we decided not to bother, but were a bit stuck for options. We ended up doing some shopping, and having another coffee, before parting earlier than planned. At least I didn't fall asleep anyway, though I may do now I'm home! ;) :thumbsup:

Overall sounds like a good day despite the lack of sleep. Albers Lamb looking good. So is that cake. :thumbsup: 🤠
 
Good day guardians i hope you’re all having a good one. I finally finished a long couple of weeks now off to Texas for a week of leave. Very industrious Daniel, that's crazy about the snow! How high are those mountains? :cool: Hope you have a great time in Texas, and that you find some shade down there :) :thumbsup:

After my Thai lunch, I didn't feel too hungry, so I've just had a cheeseburger 😋 Does anyone else like BBQ sauce (hot, sweet, and smokey) on their corn-on-the-cob, or is it just me?! :D :thumbsup:
