Very sad to see, I'm sure, as you walk along. Some is self imposed, but worse when you are a victim of circumstances. That's sad Bob, but I guess it's at least a way to collect a few pennies. There's a huge homeless problem here, and all they can do is beg. I saw far fewer beggars in war-torn Lebanon 45 years ago, than I see on any given day in Leeds, and London is even worseTalking of which, I do hope that your daughter has settled in, and finding time to see the sights in our southern capital
After leaving Charlie, I went into town, as I needed to visit the post office. I don't know what's going on, but there have been long queues outside all week, with people going to the travel/foreign money exchange counterI really need to get a new compact camera, as I've noticed some focussing problems with the one I carry in my pocket (Canon SX620 HS)

I wasn't queuing, so I went into the market, across the road, to buy some bread. While I was waiting to be served, the two people in front of me each asked for a pistachio brownie, which sounded nice, so I scooped up the last oneI was going to have it after my lunch, but it had started raining heavily, so I headed to the Tunisian food stall instead
I'll have the brownie after my tea later
I wish I could take photos like our old friend Harvey

Thanks for remembering my daughter, Alex, Jack. She is of to parts unknown, so being a tourist will
have to wait.
