Went to get my Covid shot and was told that there was a computer glitch and that I shouldn't have been able to make the appointment as they had no vaccine

I have rescheduled for Thursday but I'll be sure to call before I show to make sure they have it.

Good idea Jer, I must have at least 20 hipflasks, and a good half dozen coffee flasks! I've never seen folks queuing outside like that, not least because there is space for more than 50 people to queue inside, and it has been like that from morning to late afternoon, all week I like your pic, is that a Stanley flask on the right?

Two bells here, (which sounds a lot less than 9pm), and my phone has only just let me know that it's International Talk Like A Pirate Day, which I think JohnDF was the first to bring to the Guardians thread! I may have missed out on shivering me timbers, and keelhauling the neighbours, but there's no reason for you folks in more pirate-friendly time-zones to miss out! Haul up the main mast, splice the main brace, and say "Aharrrrrr" Guardians! JohnDF , I can't believe we lost you to some darn bean-bags! Have a good one ship-mate!

I think I'd add a canister of bear spray, at least one slingshot, some water balloons, a cattle prod, and an air horn.

I've been to events like that. No one who has would ever say they wish they'd been less prepared.
