Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

The blade must be set low. There are ways of lightening the pull, (see the thread index)

Ugh! Nothing worse!

Great pic Steve

That doesn't do much in my experience Bob, but check out the thread index if you ever get another you struggle with
Haha not an easy open fan eh? How about a bail and a fob, then..... 🤣😁😲

Hmm...🤔🤔

I like the pull and won't notch it. The blade is fine now but if it does ever need to be lowered we may have to revisit the whole notch thing..... 😈

How do you like it so far? The 4" one is still my favorite after trying both sizes now. It's just very... very sturdy, strong and snappy. Locks up like it's a fixed blade! Very smooth after breaking it in.

One of these days it'll probably get a little notch to help pinch the blade open a bit easier.

The only problem is that I'm afraid to really beat it up. I like it too much.
I like it, I say use it if you wear it out, then you will need to get another 1😉😊
After cleaning it I sat there & opened closed it for awhile. Marked difference from the first time.
You don't find the Big 'Un easy to pinch open Rick? If not, it'll probably get easier with use. The difference between the pull on my two Hartshead Barlows, (the stag model carried very regularly, the rosewood one, much less so), is quite striking
Agree with that. Bob asked me the other day if BobStag had gotten smoother. It has become smooth with regular csrry.

Thanks Jack. 👍🏻I was lazy....so gave it to porch member. I'm sure he will smooth the action out.
Very kind of you Bob :)

They are very rare, but both have been seen on the Lambsfoot pattern, though not a full EO notch, so far as I recall. There's a reason for that, they should not be necessary, and in my personal opinion, can look ugly. A couple of gents here have taken an alternative approach, which, in both cases, is much more aesthetically pleasing I think :)

Patience is a virtue Mitch :)

Feller once told me this (below) was impossible to open, and here it is straight out of the envelope he returned it in

I forget who ended up with it, but they were very pleased
Late getting on, I've been running around all day. Bob, we're with you in SPIRIT.

New pic of Gidge.

Beautiful photo Jeff :)
Thanks Jack. It’s been neglected, along with Skoll, since the Kroo showed up. It has dominated my pocket since its arrival.
I'd forgotten about Skoll, but I know how that can happen Jeremy :)

Off to the market in the morning. Hopefully Tool Man hasn't wasted away in my absence! :D

They are both great knives. Only other knife I’ve been on the lookout for is one of you Hartshead Barlows, but those don’t come up very often.
