Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Just checked out where you live and that would be a beautiful place to live since we really like the mountains . The problem is the temperature extremes in the winter . Beautiful pictures my friend .

Harry
Harry, you are right about the weather extremes especially if you haven't been raised in the North. If the wife and I were skiers,
living here would be simply the best! There are a lot of folks from the USA and Europe that have condos and some very rich homes here.
These are folks that love Mountain biking and hiking in the summer and of course skiing in the winter.

Before we moved here I was living in southern British Columbia where the weather is less extream, the area has orchards and vineyards, had it not been for employment we would still be there. We are happy that at the time my employment leads us here, as it is a great place for the soul.:D

Wow. It still surprises me how quickly this thread moves some times. Fantastic fall pictures, everyone!

I bring greetings from @StoneBeard. He's been very busy lately, but asked me to pass along his warm regards to his fellow Guardians and his assurance that he'll be back one of these days.

In the meantime, I hope everyone's week is off to a good start. I can't believe it's already Tuesday afternoon!

Thanks for the news of @StoneBeard Greg, I hope he's able to get back to us soon :)

By the way, after a break to get to know my new Rosewood, I'm back to my old standard:

It's nice to have it back in my pocket. :)

Very nice my friend, have you managed to tame the unruly horn now?

I likes this one! :p:D

Me too! :) Even if it does remind me of this! :D

Don't forget the Lambsfoot content guys - otherwise we'll end up in the Lounge! ;)

Carrying my AC today :)

I went to see that film on a date, and it really was one of the weirdest I have ever seen, I just couldn't work out who it was supposed to be aimed at!

Bonus Lambsfoot pic to celebrate having got a chunk of (rather tedious) work finished earlier than expected! :D ;)

I know, Pee-wee Herman always gave me the creeps  I'd rather be stuck on a desert island with a herd of goats than Pee-wee :p

It’s done well this year. I think that likely has to do as much with a milder summer as it does with its conditioning regiment. The mark side has no issues at the moment. If you look really closely at the edge of the pile-side liner in that photo, you can see a hint of irregularity in the horn underneath. I’ll see if I can get a proper photo of it later.

Glad your rather tedious chunk of work finished earlier than expected. It’s always a happy thing when the timing surprise is in your favor. :)

That's good to hear Greg :) Thanks my friend, I was glad to get it out of the way

Any time, Dave, I love to talk bikes.

G' mornin' Guardians.

Good morning, Guardians!
Toting this today (old pic--waiting for new phone--my camera--to arrive later today).

An oldie, but definitely a goodie :)

I've had a couple of friends who've bought houses on Blake Street - got them very cheap, couldn't sell them! If it's icy, stationery cars slide down it! The video really doesn't show how steep it is (plenty more like that too)! Fortunately there's a pub at the top ;) :D

(You might want to turn the sound off!)

That's a shame about the Dragon Fuel, I have about 4 boxes of it! :( It's not even supposed to smoke! o_O Thanks for the tip on the windshield my friend

Ahhh yeah!! That would be the Blake Hotel? Never been but I understand it's a cracking boozer. I believe it's possibly on a list a couple of mates have drawn up for a pub crawl were going on in December. Just hope it's not icy...
Btw, she made a right rigmarole of getting up that hill. Not even I'm that bad...

There was a time when I wouldn't even stop to eat! Now, I enjoy sitting down, getting a fire going, and having a hot drink and something to eat :) Years ago, I did some tests on all sorts of fuels - petrol, paraffin, meths, gas, etc - hexi beat the lot, including meta. Now my Kelly Kettle is FAST! But bulky unfortunately

The Dragon Fuel didn't smoke at all, but sort of bubbled away to leave a thick black crust. It lit easily enough using a Swedish firesteel and burned hot; it just didn't burn long enough to boil 400ml of water. I believe the army's latest issue stove comes with a small pan that these things fit into? However I actually use something similar, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I remember seeing pics of your Kelly Kettle a couple of years ago I think. Cracking pieces of kit aren't they. I've used a mates when we've been out working on a smallholding up in Yorkshire.
Sorry I forgot to put these links in yesterday. They also have a shop in Hathersage if your about that way.

I got to work on one of those awhile back. I have to say it is the nicest E bike I have ever came across, really top notch parts and a design that makes sense. That motor looking thing is a cast aluminum housing for the batteries, so it keeps the batteries nice and cool...heat is a battery killer. Of course I had to take it on a nice long test ride to make sure everything was working properly. :D The ride was reeeeealy nice....pretty fast too. BTW, they are made about 1.5 hours from my house.

Now that's a really nice looking bike! Not seen anything on sale like that in the UK. Over here all e-bikes I've seen look like really wierd elongated delivery bikes. But a question; are E-bikes over in the US and Canada speed restricted?

Todays.
